In more recent tours he's seemed alot happier and content with his life. He's proper grown up, and now highly respected. He deserved this win. Well done Trent.

He's given away his music for free and actually encouraged people to steal it to f*ck with his record labels. The man cares about his fans and his music is amazing. Congrats to Reznor and Ross.

Kudos for not exhibiting the typical journalistic laziness and not calling Trent Reznor "Nine Inch Nails frontman". Why is it so hard to just say Nine Inch Nails is the name Trent Reznor records under? He's a lot more than just a singer and calling him frontman is kinda insulting.

I feel really happy for Trent, been a big NIN fan since Broken. It's strange how far he's come. He used to be really bitter, had some serious issues, became a drug addict, had his legion of 'fans', was essentially alone, and now he's married to a beautiful woman and looks like his issues are of the past, and now the whole world knows him. In more recent tours he's seemed alot happier and content with his life. He's proper grown up, and now highly respected. He deserved this win. Well done Trent.

It's funny how Trent gets bad attitude from all the generic 'celebrity' followers and almost no-one else, isn't it?
A shame there are people out there who believe that looks, lifestyle, fashion and extrovert personalities are more deserved of attention than intelligence, talent, creativity, passion, soul and integrity. It's been exciting and fulfilling being a NIN fan - Hard not to sound like a 15 year old fanboy when I say that, in turn, it makes me a fan of Trent as a person. Congrats to T+A.
