I've been watching a few of your videos lately and I enjoy them all. It seems like game companies and developers are really going downhill. Im a big DCUO fan and I, excited for it going free to play and I saw on g4tv that it'd go free today but on the dcuo forums and on their facebook they say its just a rumor and wont happen today. And people are flipping out and it just gets more and more rediculous as you read all the comments. I don't see how so many people can get that angry over all this.
Those people are in denial. Once the G4 interview went up with them announcing F2P on camera, that should have erased all doubt in anyone's mind. There's tons of articles from SOE themselves saying it, I just don't know why people are mad that others get a chance to play it now. The game will benefit and stay alive for this reason. It's very immature of so called "Gamers" to act this way. At this point, I don't think they deserve to be called Gamers.

Never stand in lines to buy games. The people who stood in line to buy madden 12 are idiots. The original copies are worthless. A couple months from now, upgraded plays, lineups, the works. Black ops is still the same, today or the day it came out. It's just cheaper now. If you wait to get it, it will be so cheap, it won't matter to you if you get rippedoff. And never buy the online games. Those are the ones getting ripped. It's just as cheap at gamestop.

DLC is really starting to piss me off. I actually just bought Mortal Kombat 9 and with it I spent about $20 extra for 3 characters and a costume pack. While I like the content I purchased it clearly isn't worth $20. I spent little over $20 for the damn game how they gonna charge me nearly the same price for a tiny amount of content? Remember back before online gaming when developers could only release a game with all the full content readily available and players were rewarded with more content?
You know what sucks m wife and I are both gamers and by doing that stupid online pass BS one of us have to miss out on the content. So now we both have to buy the same game twice? GTFO!

was this the first you heard of Smash Bros Brawl's mods? they also made mods for Cloud Strife, Geno, Sephiroth, Master Chief, etc. i don't like them because of how broken they are (both gameplay wise and movement wise (as in it looks fractured))
i prefer the other half of the modding of the characters, the model swaps, where all that is changed is the appearance of the characters. like we can have Bayonetta and no attacks are changed/moddefied from Zero Suit Samus.

They force Bioware to rush Dragon Age 2 out a good four months before it could be ready, which caused Bioware to damn near draw a line in the sand regarding ME3, and then they pull this bullshit with their sports games.
Not to mention their pushing of these online passes as a means of forcing players to buy new to choke out the used game market!
BTW, Event, I just wanted to let you know that Bioware explicitly said that the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer will not be required to get the best ending or anything for singleplayer. Multiplayer can HELP Shepard toward getting the full "Galactic Readiness" rating for the final showdown, but it won't be required to get the full readiness rating.
from what i'm hearing over on the bioware forums the multiplayer only effects the single play as an alternate path to the end of the game and you can still play single player and get the grandest ending based off your choices
i'm also hearing that origins will be required to play me3 which is a downer
It's getting really difficult just to play videogames these days. All the DLC you have to buy just to get the full game just isn't right. DLC was originally suppose to add life/longevity to video games. Now it's just another thing to add to the "things that were good, turned bad" list. I agree and it seems those days are over. Split screen co-op and LAN play are being forgotten. These passes stop you from taking games are friends houses and playing. They want to keep everyone online, because they have more control. I'm telling you, if arcades make a big comeback, these devs are screwed.
My buddies and I are still old school hardcore gamers when it comes to multiplayer. We have dedicated nights where we go over someones house and just play old games Split Screen Style. NES, SNES, N64, DreamCast. Games like Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, Contra 3, Ghouls and Ghosts, Marvel Vs Capcom, etc.
We work hard for our money, and were appalled when DLC and Online Passes hit the market. Our stand is , "If we pay $60 we better get a full game!" Northeast Philly!

My xbox account was hacked called xbox and it was fixed in 10 minutes lol not even joking they used my card and it was all refunded . In a recent video, co-op multiplayer was confirmed to be optional, meaning that while it can effect the single player game its not necessary. Basically its not going to drastically effect your singleplayer game, whether this is really true or not really depends on when the game is released. Bioware knows mass effect is a singleplayer game, this co-operative multiplayer I think is just a small way players can play the game with friends and have it still be helpful to the single player.
Fuck EA man. When I played I think it was FIFA 09 or 10 they had this manager mode bug that would send your wage budget to -€2bn meaning you couldn't do anything and the pricks knew about it and refused to do anything because they were working on the next game, google the official forums about the bug to see how pissed people were THEN I created a Twitter account to tweet a dev from EA asking about a patch and the mofo blocked me.

But, I've been following you since your first DCUO vids and you were completely right about where it was going (and I mean 100% right..... scary) and I'm trusting you about Batman and not getting it until the GOY edition. But, do you think that they will release the DLC onto the game when they release that version..... also, how long will it take b/c I'm going through withdrawal and Arkham Asylum only goes so far lol
Batman: AA GOTY Edition came out about 6-8 moth after the original which was loaded with everything, they even added 3D to the game and gave you glasses. At the rate these game prices drop and GOTY Editions are made, I would say anywhere from 3-6 months with everything on the disc. LA Noire and Red Dead just announced a complete edition with all the DLC on the disc as well.
@EventStatus Well, shoot! LA Noire was a first day buy.... and then I found out that there are cases that weren't included and I was ....... disappointed to say the least and now they released everything??? Man, I'm not buying anything that has DLC anymore if this is the pattern.

The more I hear about Trion worlds and their games the more I respect them as game developers. A free to play mmo rts, rift charity event, just so much cool stuff coming from them now. I also used that gamers opt out website to make it so I don't lose my rights to these new stupid terms of service bullshit that sony and EA have. Gabe Newell is an incredibly smart man and the games that valve makes is pretty high quality and they drop price quickly.
In a nutshell, yes. But also one of my videos were blocked, because I used literally 5 seconds of music in the video. They didn't offer an audio swap either, they just blocked it to be assholes. Going to other places have fair-use clauses so I can use these things. It also means I can show different trailers as well, since many of them are blocked.
Hey man, awesome video. It's crazy how you can get a car for $300. Also I really do like that Gran Turismo 5, had an update 2.00 that has over 1 gb of fixes to many of the in game problems that the fans pointed out. Besides of a major update, everyone can get a free in-game car when they log on to GT5. The gift, is to honor F1 driver Sebastian Vettel for taking the 2011 Formula 1 World Championship at the Japanese Grand Prix.
Thanks for the update on GT5. I'm a huge fan of it, but I haven't had time to download the update. I didn't know all the details about it either (I literally read around 100 articles a week, so some are bound to slip by me) thanks for letting people know about the free car. I'll definitely have to get on that. I just wished they would let you transfer over your GT5 Prologue data though (cars and money)

I'm a tekken fan but...$250 for Tekken Hybrid and a fight stick id s rip off for sn old gsme and a movie lol It's good to see a positive change in the gamer universe. I guess since battlefield 3 has an online pass then MW3 will too which means...I'm probably not going to get it. I bought Mortal Kombat but never played it online. I just will not buy any games supporting online passes. Maybe if it's enough negative feedback they will stop this madness...getting the support is another story lol

was this the first you heard of Smash Bros Brawl's mods? they also made mods for Cloud Strife, Geno, Sephiroth, Master Chief, etc. i don't like them because of how broken they are (both gameplay wise and movement wise (as in it looks fractured))
i prefer the other half of the modding of the characters, the model swaps, where all that is changed is the appearance of the characters. like we can have Bayonetta and no attacks are changed/moddefied from Zero Suit Samus.

They force Bioware to rush Dragon Age 2 out a good four months before it could be ready, which caused Bioware to damn near draw a line in the sand regarding ME3, and then they pull this bullshit with their sports games.
Not to mention their pushing of these online passes as a means of forcing players to buy new to choke out the used game market!

BTW, Event, I just wanted to let you know that Bioware explicitly said that the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer will not be required to get the best ending or anything for singleplayer. Multiplayer can HELP Shepard toward getting the full "Galactic Readiness" rating for the final showdown, but it won't be required to get the full readiness rating.

from what i'm hearing over on the bioware forums the multiplayer only effects the single play as an alternate path to the end of the game and you can still play single player and get the grandest ending based off your choices

It's getting really difficult just to play videogames these days. All the DLC you have to buy just to get the full game just isn't right. DLC was originally suppose to add life/longevity to video games. Now it's just another thing to add to the "things that were good, turned bad" list. Thanks for the latest video. I've decided to only buy Skyrim and maybe Saints Row the Third since every other game I wanted either has a retarded online pass or was completely raped by incompetent companies *CoughDmCCough* Hell, I decided to go back to older gaming by way of emulators since it's gotten this bad. I just wish gaming went back to the days full version games with unlockable content rather than locked DLC on the disk. How i miss those days indeed....:(

I agree and it seems those days are over. Split screen co-op and LAN play are being forgotten. These passes stop you from taking games are friends houses and playing. They want to keep everyone online, because they have more control. I'm telling you, if arcades make a big comeback, these devs are screwed.

My buddies and I are still old school hardcore gamers when it comes to multiplayer. We have dedicated nights where we go over someones house and just play old games Split Screen Style. NES, SNES, N64, DreamCast. Games like Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye, Contra 3, Ghouls and Ghosts, Marvel Vs Capcom, etc.
We work hard for our money, and were appalled when DLC and Online Passes hit the market. Our stand is , "If we pay $60 we better get a full game!" Northeast Philly!

My xbox account was hacked called xbox and it was fixed in 10 minutes lol not even joking they used my card and it was all refunded . So yeah the internet wasn't down for months because of a hack so yeah xbox live is much better. Trust me this isn't a haha at PS3 just sayin Microsoft is more on top of it when you catch it.

It was about 2 days and no I'm not lying I made sure they didn't charge me because if they hadnt I would have been extremely angry. In a recent video, co-op multiplayer was confirmed to be optional, meaning that while it can effect the single player game its not necessary. Basically its not going to drastically effect your singleplayer game, whether this is really true or not really depends on when the game is released. Bioware knows mass effect is a singleplayer game, this co-operative multiplayer I think is just a small way players can play the game with friends and have it still be helpful to the single player.

When I played I think it was FIFA 09 or 10 they had this manager mode bug that would send your wage budget to -€2bn meaning you couldn't do anything and the pricks knew about it and refused to do anything because they were working on the next game, google the official forums about the bug to see how pissed people were THEN I created a Twitter account to tweet a dev from EA asking about a patch and the mofo blocked me.

But, I've been following you since your first DCUO vids and you were completely right about where it was going (and I mean 100% right..... scary) and I'm trusting you about Batman and not getting it until the GOY edition. Batman: AA GOTY Edition came out about 6-8 moth after the original which was loaded with everything, they even added 3D to the game and gave you glasses. At the rate these game prices drop and GOTY Editions are made, I would say anywhere from 3-6 months with everything on the disc. LA Noire and Red Dead just announced a complete edition with all the DLC on the disc as well.

The more I hear about Trion worlds and their games the more I respect them as game developers. A free to play mmo rts, rift charity event, just so much cool stuff coming from them now. I also used that gamers opt out website to make it so I don't lose my rights to these new stupid terms of service bullshit that sony and EA have. Gabe Newell is an incredibly smart man and the games that valve makes is pretty high quality and they drop price quickly.

In a nutshell, yes. But also one of my videos were blocked, because I used literally 5 seconds of music in the video. They didn't offer an audio swap either, they just blocked it to be assholes. Going to other places have fair-use clauses so I can use these things. It also means I can show different trailers as well, since many of them are blocked.

Hey man, awesome video. It's crazy how you can get a car for $300. Also I really do like that Gran Turismo 5, had an update 2.00 that has over 1 gb of fixes to many of the in game problems that the fans pointed out. Besides of a major update, everyone can get a free in-game car when they log on to GT5. The gift, is to honor F1 driver Sebastian Vettel for taking the 2011 Formula 1 World Championship at the Japanese Grand Prix.
