Is this Joseph Messner somehow related with the italian mountaineer Reinhold Messner? Wikipedia say Reinhold's father was "Josef Messner" and he was a teacher, I can't understand if he's the same person who wrote this Sonatina or it's just a case.
@OpusStefano Yes. He is the father of Reinhold. I still have to add that info, also that Joseph was a famous conductor before and after WWII of the Mozarteum Orchestra and the Salzburg Dom Choir. He championed Mozart's Requiem like nobody else before him.

@amras0000 It is my own book. Old, and falling apart. It is a 1948 edition. Paper quality was not good just after the war.
