  • The American people bailed out these assholes. The CEO is a fucking jerk who should be crucified upside down.

  • @loonmaniac america must hepl ceo, and they must give more bones for ceo.

  • I am being told right now that AIG and IG Farbin are subsidaries.....IG Farbin was Hitlers war machines biggest financial contributor, can you imagine what that means for the US?

  • Die Cassano Die!!!

  • i hope he dies horribly, him and all these other ceo fucks who screwed us over.

  • Ed Liddy & the other AIG executives hide behind bodyguards. That's cowardly, using their ill-gotten wealth to try & remain anonymous. It's unbelievably loathsome how these bums have wiped out the life savings & incomes of millions of innocent hard-working families simply to satisfy their lust & greed. Will not one of them step forward & claim responsibility for the economic debacle they've created? People are sick to death of these greedy, lazy, incompetent golf-playing executives.

  • Hank Greenburg was fired for FRAUD

I guess his CIA connections paid off

  • How bout that its nobodys fault! Executive CEOs contribute nothing to the community & have no idea about the realities of the world. Lets start a bash-a-CEO day! SCUM.

  • These guys create nothing and, bubbles, scam.

Tar and feather that little old man.

  • how many people did they scew to get the money to pay such high bounes. i think they maybe scewing the taxpayer

  • Sounds like a company Bernie Maddox would love. It looks like a long history of corruption.

  • AIG was Greenberg's baby, and he was shoved out (or left) and apparently was sour about not being allowed back to help clean things up when insiders knew AIG was headed for a fall.

There is more to this story that CBS is reporting (long-standing beefs Greenberg and the newer crew, and interests on both sides, and TONS of ego, I'm sure.)

Unfortunately we just get this lame one-sided tit-for-tat, with no real effort to get the story beyond what Greenberg feels like giving. journalism? joke.

  • "absolutely not" -- easily said after the fact.

  • do we punish stupidity? hahaha.

  • Yes we do.

  • we who? all the you so eager to pay lawyers your tax dollars to fight this?

  • its an insurance company.. and they wonder if there is fraud involved?
