Burning PVC creates hydrochloric gas doesn't it? That's pretty bad to inhale and it's probably hell on your laser (I don't know what type of laser you have, it may be safe for yours if it was made for that).
Processing PVC will destroy your machine and might cauterize your lungs via chlorine.
The other thing I'd like to emphasise, is that burning PVC creates other ugly stuff as well, that you definitely don't want to get in contact with, as it e.g. can give you cancer...
