This is coming from a huge Star Trek fan (which is me). I hate to say this but Star Wars The Old Republic is gonna kick this game ass. This is why I wish BioWare would have pick up Star Trek Online after Perpetual Entertainment fell under not Cryptic Studios. Cryptic Studios already ruined Star Trek Online for me but I still will play it even if it's gonna be a WoW style Star Trek MMO which isn't really I want. A Mass Effect/Star Wars The Old Republic style Star Trek MMO is what I really want!

Dude, that would be so SWEET! I want a Galazy class starship.... Every time I'd see it on TNG, I'd like, fall into a happy coma, lol. I'm SO happy that this game's coming out and that you can actually fly with WASD controlls! Also, if it's not too much to ask, would you consider being STO buds? Haha. I'm not in a fleet, but it'd be cool to start one and to like, have awesome people such as yourself be in it! Miners, Defenders, Diplomats... The possibilities are endless!

I did play Eve for like, 5 minutes, and it was only the demo.. But yeah, I haven't either, but maybe it's one of those things that's there, just underappreciated.

Not likely. They are going after 2 totally different markets. STO is going to use a subscription and micro-transactios. FAIL. No one will notice as KOTOR online comes out.

FAIL to you 'chaadlosan'. Star Trek will have a larger fanbase, as anyone who has watched it or played a game will think that they can play that. KOTOR on the other hand will only attract players of the previous games as people who have watched the films only will think 'Who the hell are all these people? Where is Darth Vader?' due to the time it is set. It would even appeal less to the players, as it's combat would have to use a completely different engine, and lose t's fan appeal.
