i agree.... so far ahead of it's time, i mean really..on screaming in digital one of the lyric's is .......freedom belong's to only to those without video screen's. and here we all are today fuckin glued to these thing's.
Sweet! It's a shame this is the only video from "Rage For Order." Even Chris Degarmo said he regretted that more videos weren't made from this album because they could have done some weird ass shit. This is awesome.
@mkhunter0308 Presactly - same with me, except they're number 3 with me - right after Floyd and Maiden (in that order). Not all that surprising really, as I always thought of Queensryche as the illegitimate love-child of those two bands ;-)
This exemplifies how different they were from other metal bands at the time. This was not the kind of song that you'd expect a metal band to cover at all. Here, they look and sound arty and goth. This was more Bauhaus/Peter Murphy than metal. Very cool. Plus, it sounds way better than the original version of the song.
Loved it then, love it still, the drama in it, a real old time favourit. Didn't think of it for quiet a while untill I accidently found it just now, cheer!! Five and fav!
It's hard for me to tell with the lighting, but someone told me that they lady in the video is the lovely Ms. Dalbello herself. Funny, I didn't know she owned a comb... ^_^
I love this song! I think the album Rage for Order is one of my faves from the 'ryche! It's so different and it was so far ahead of what other metal/hard rock bands were doing at the time.
Considering when they made this video that hair was really 'in', the haircut is right for that period of the eighties and was pretty tame compared to some back then. LOL Crap I feel old, heh.
Geoff looks hot in any haircut and this song still kicks ass!
BAHAHAHA look at his hair around 2:09

Great song, fantastic album, so few bands in the 80s found there own sound and even fewer still were able to do it as well. All hail the Ryche!

Great song and video, like a Vampire type storyline. They could've used this song for either Fright Night or Twilight.

I remember hearing this song before I was into the Ryche and thinking it was David Bowie. Don't worry, I'm kicking myself for you Rychers. Peace.

I forgot about this video/song! These guys obviously liked the movie "The Hunger" or their video director did. Very Goth for them too.
