Where do I go now ? How can I set it free ? Where do I find the words ? What do you mean to me ? Just what is it I want ? What the hell can I do ?.... Oh-oh-oh-oh... Why must I lie to myself ? How do I get back to you ? Who was it put up this wall ? Why can't we tear it down ? How can I make it better ? Why such a lonesome old town ? Oh-oh-oh-oh. Why in this lonely old town ? Ay-oh-oh-oh
Does someone have the video where Joe Dawson is singing this song after the death of Richie please? Thanks!
Jim is the epitome of cool-- I'll never forget seeing him for the 1st time at the "Sidetrack Cafe' in Edmonton, Alberta (CANADA) many years ago- and I fell for his charisma and later on in Vancouver at the YALE,in Victoria at what used to be Harpos...he has 'it' - you either have it or you don't..and a good actor too!
The most gifted musician I've ever heard in my life. I admire him so so much. Not just his voice and music, but his lyrics help me get out from my troubles. I listen to his music every day. I can't imagine a day without his songs. He's wise, he's someone I can look up to. Love him.
The longest journey I've ever taken is from my head to my heart..... This song helps me see that it's a longer journey than I could have imagined, and that my heart will not be silenced .......... thank you Mr. Byrnes
edaviesis, Another Canadian, Wow your words are so profound and touching...really beautiful. I used to go to the Yale Pub in Vancouver and listen to this fine man. He is an incredible entertainer and musician. Very bluesy, very classy..omg all of a sudden I am feeling a bit homesick...and want to go home.

This guy must have one of the most recognizable voices and sounds in the genre--a true bluesman if there ever was one.

very well cut! One doesn't often get to see a video that fits the music's tempo, rhythm and mood that nicely.

Great song. I can't believe this guy did the voice of Inferno in Beast Wars back in the day, but I guess that shows how talented he is

Man, I need to get this album. I've got "That River" and "House of Refuge", but what I've heard of "Fresh Horses" just blows me away.
