Big thanks, guys!! You jsut saved me about $275 at the dealer! I watched the video and had this done myself in 35 minutes. I owe you guys a round or ten! THANKS!!
Well this is just great to know !! My wife and i just bought a 2009 malibu yesturday and when we got home my buddy and i we checking the car over when he stated "how do you change the headlight if need be" i said good question ! Bad design flaw there ! Hope the lights never burn out !!
Really though it does not look overly difficult, good vid.
Hey bro sorry about this dumb question but I'm new with this shit, let's say u wanna get projector lights can u still use da same HID kit? Or would u have to buy a different one for the Low high beams? Thanks
Hey, nice video I just bought a Malibu and wanted to install some HID's... I didn't catch the connection part.. did you connect the ballast directly to the factory headlight plug? Or do you need a relay harness to make them work?
@beto7g sorry that i didnt show how to connect the thing...but basically, u plug ur ballast between the bulb n the headlight plug...and yes u will need a relay harness...nothing complicated, its plug n play...you just need to make sure to remove the whole bumper...thats a pain in the ass bcuz there are many screws...
@darksaigon I see you pulled the front off to get to the headlamp. I couldn't because of two bolts or screws that prevent me to pull off the front. I did you what you did. Took the screws out from the bottom, tabs from the side of the wheel well, screws in the wheel well, and the top black guard in front of the engine. But, there are two bolts or screws underneath the black top. How did you get those undone? Please let me know.
Glad my Malibu doesn't require the bumper to be dropped

What kind of relay did you use? I have the option of with or without a fuse. Not sure about that and do I need the wire harness for both sides.
