Other than that, try Girugamesh (especially their song Owari to Mirai) is awesome.

I don't think these would classify as rock, but D'espairsRay, The Gazette, Stance Punks, Versailles, UverWorld, YounHa, Flow, Home Made Kazoku, and Abingdon Boys' School are all also awesome bands.

i don't know much either but here's what i do know. i saw them at taste of chaos. you can even get your picture taken with them ^^ they sound just as good live, too. although half the people in the crowd didn't know what they were saying (they speak heavily accented english) and one didn't know what high five meant when my friend wanted to give him one. but they're really nice and you can even give them a hug (my friends did)
