One of the greatest Genesis games of all time!! Definitely one of my favorites up there with Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Toejam and Earl, Virtual Pinball, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist, and Streets Of Rage 2.

When playing TF4 on any emulator, Does anyone know why the game is always crashing/freezing when fighting the boss of this tune?

Your emulator or your computer probably sucks. Also the game originally lagged against bosses often anyway.

What emulator specifically are you using?

"Picodrive" for the PSP.

There's your problem. Emulation accuracy is paramount in Megadrive emulators, which is why Kega Fusion rules over all.

The only other emulator I use is Genesis Plus GX for the Wii. You'll have to put up with your emulator's unstable development till it gets better.

A little research tells me that Picodrive is based on Gens, which is not only discontinued but also not as accurate as Kega Fusion. Kega Fusion is only for PC by the way.

I bought Thunderforce 5 on the Sega Saturn (Jap version) and it came with a Thunderforce collection soundtrack CD, which included about 4 tracks off TF4, some off TF3 and a couple of TF2 & 5 from what I remember. I'm sure it'll end up on ebay, but it might cost you as it'll be rare as rockinghorse! Wish I'd burnt it to disc now or at least ripped it!
