Do u ever fish on the surface close in or floats or do u always use bite alarms ?

Many of the carp i caught this year were caught close in.

I do not bother to try for the carp on the surface at the pack/manicure as they simply do not respond.

Not to sure i actually believe the 300 for 5 day ticket story here to be quite honest. Although im not saying it isnt true i just cant see that generating many sales of tickets lol i certainly wouldnt pay it. Whats in those lakes? 50lb koi you can take home as then i may reconsider. lol.

The woolpack is just off the A14 Godmanchester, Huntingdon Cambs

Tickets are 100 (can night fish) for three rods 80 for two (no nights)

No 40's in lake three i shd think but a couple of fish that could go upto mid thirty but they aint been out in years. I aint seen the bigun' lumpy all year and he may be demised (a dead car was spotted)

It's a £100 per year for three rods and 80 for two.
