when the sound is that loud you need to put your finger over the mic. The sound coming in from the rest of the camera is enough at that volume to get a clear sound.
he might actually like playing the esp's more, its just he probably can't put the jackson pickups in them so they don't sound as good. I was there and his jacksons with j50bc's were the best guitar sound i've ever heard live.
i think maybe the reason roope plays rhythm rather than lead is because he was in a thrash metal band, and rhythm plays more chords than lead, which is probably what he likes to play. and alexi was already the lead guitarist when roope joined CoB, and you can't just throw someone out of lead when you first join a band.
not only everything u just said, but i also read in an interview that he said that he's already proved himself plus CoB is "alexi's baby" and that he didn't wanna take it from him. in my opinion he should still solo more.
Actually no, but the largest difference between one CoB album and another IMO was between HCDR and AYDY, and it just so happens that was also the time Alexander left and Roope joined.
No man he's right. you notice Bodom's solo's aren't JUST shredding? Like something by Yngwie Malmsteen or Michael Angelo Batio which is? They put ALOT more melody than shred in their solo's and riffs. Their more recent albums "AYDY and Blooddrunk" don't show this as much, but their more neo-classical years had shredding yes, but it was ALL melodic and catchy. Their new stuff is melodic as well, just not in a neo-classical way. So know what you're talking about before you open your mouth.
hahahahahaa!''alexi is faster'' 1.if u are fast it doesnt mean that u are the best or better...anybody can play fast if u know what i mean??IM 100% SURE THAT ROOPE OWNS ALEXI and 2.alexi and roope doesnt concenrate playing fast its more like concenrating that their solos have a great melody....maybe u understand it some day..
Personally...i think the only reason Roope "Owns" Alexi is because of experiance. Roope has like 10+ years of playing on Alexi. All the time he's spent playing has no doubt made him what he is today. And they only way that will change is when Roope is gone and Alexi takes the torch...I dread the day Roope leaves us but it's true. A Master and Apprentice situationIMHO.
very true what you wrote.. Roope is who he is today due to experience and joy for playing :) and I too dread the day Roope passes the torch.. yes Alexi is very talented but.. Roope is Roope ;)
i was totally there, i need to put my video up of this solo, the sound on it is perfect

I doubt ESP likes him for using his jackson in his other band. It shows he likes jackson more, which is supporting the competition :P
