LOL I agree with all of you. The trailer is seriously downplaying the book. It reminds me of those old teen fighting shows they had on tv after-school. She does fit the image of Katsa quite well though. The book is absolutely amazing though. Not corny or girly at all. But just good old kick-ass characters and an enjoyable storyline.

i hope nobody judges the book by this lame video, because the book was pretty good. Some things are annoying (you'll find out when you read it), but overall its captivating, the suspense is good and you can't help but fall in love with Po. (seriously)

Kristen Cashore's debut novel is put high up on my list of favorite books and authors, right smack in the middle with Tamora Pierce and Charles de Lint. I can see this author going making a very successful career of writing and look forward to the prequel coming out in 2009: Fire.

All the books by Tamora Pierce are EXCELLENT!! start with the series that has Alana in it. I believe it's the first one. :) hope I helped.
