The reason why is worst,it's that Gearbox bought ALL copyrights of the character,DNF was supposed to be made by another company,but this project was abandoned,Gearbox took Duke Nukem,and the shitty game-DNF,is made.

@MultiMrblade I hate to break it to you, but the game was stuck in development hell for so Goddamn long, it was going to suck ass regardless of who made it. Gearbox had to take all the pre-made builds and then work with them, which is why it didn't take that long to come out after they announced making it. This is why the earlier parts feel older.

Besides, the game concept was dated, even back in the day. Duke is a relic of a different time.

First off, this version was actually made it two years, 3D realms kept remaking this for different engines, over, and over, and over.... anyways, Gearbox made this version in two years.
