Well, Nelly never meant to be a great singer. But she's an artist, and a great one within so many wannabes. Her first 2 records prove that. She's a singer-songwriter AND producer of all her work and that means that she needs some respect for that. With or without Timbaland, Nelly knows how to make good pop and some kind of indie music as well.
