people say the GTR is over rated but actually the Z06 is over rated. Corvettes are very unreliable cars, fast, but they don't last long, and they are cheaply built. This vette has an after market race engine and still can't beat a 3.8 V6. Shows how much better japanese engineering is when compared to american engineering. This is why GM is going bankrupt, they don't know how to build cars good enough to compete with the rest of the world. They are very poor quality.

I agree, the corvette is fast but its cheap quality. You are only paying for a big engine, the rest of the car is a joke when compared to a real sports cars. The new ZR1 has to use Ferrari brakes and GM went to Germany to have their engine tuned so that it can compete with the big boys. GTR has much more respect and desire than a cheap plastic american sports car with an over sized engine and a sloppy gear box.
