The streets in some areas were so bad cars were getting to much water in their engines and stalling. The city was rerouted through many areas causing 10 minutes drives to take forever. Yeah, thankfully it all dried up rather quickly. Imagine how many of those poorly built homes have flooded/water damaged basements.
@Becka2930 Oh, I had posted my comment prior to reading others. Sorry to hear your apartment was flooded, it must suck. You can't blame Canada for this! :P Canada has always been good to us, this is Mother Nature. This is a small glimpse of how quickly and easily she can change life as we know it. Hope your apartment is all dry now and not much in damages! :(
