just a little tidbit of info u might like to know another popular website with essays and analysis on Street Car the play refers ppl over here for those who haven't heard this song
@queenashley12 - well queenashley12.. almost every video on the right side of this screen has someone who isn't this guy playing accordian. so those are some of the people on earth who play one. including me
@3768futbol@darcymolyneux17@benedictusk jeez all you accordian players are touchy, I get it now, i made a joke months and months and months ago i'd completely forgotten about and you don't find it funny, guess what, i don't actually care --_-- give it a rest
Man, do I ever hate this song! Its the first one where the bars dont divide the song into easy-to-play sections. I really should go back and learn to finish it...
I am so glad to find songs played on the accordion from this book as i am continuing to teach myself. i think you do a great job and that someone from the publishers office should wake up and realize they need to put together a CD to back their book. I think you should call the publisher and take the rights to putting a CD together for their book. If you don't I will.
Yes, I'm teaching myself from a book. But I'm just doing it for a goof. I'm really a cellist, which I learned by taking lots of lessons from some really good teachers. I've had piano lessons too. An accordion is piano on the right side, and music theory on the left. :-)
Good for you and very well done. This has always been one of my favorites at weddings. giovanni

The Palmer Hughes accordion course book 2 gives the English title of this piece as "Country Fair". Hope that helps.

Are you teaching yourself only using a book? Is it difficult without a teacher?
