  • Won't the people who would want illegally shared files download the video off of youtube anyways? To put it up here and say that you are keeping it safe are two different ideals, not that I ever wanted the file at all.

  • @TheKeyboardMaster100 me to and the funny thing is that i am olny 11 XD

  • They sound so sad...maybe they need some vodka to cheer them up! :D

  • @MultiWafflecakes It's time to break stereotypes, my friend.

And some of the words were in this song, so thank you!!! :)

  • I might sound corny as hell, but this song kinda bring tears to my eyes. It makes me remember my boyfriend, who's russian. Been a long time together and till the day never let me down. I hope it remains that way forever but of course God only knows.. Aside from that, that beautiful but also haunting scenery, those russian palaces; every little girl's dream, innit? :):)

  • @Meelloohh Russia is one of the greatest cultures you will ever know ;-) Allthough I'm a Dutchie too ;-)

  • @Meelloohh (Honestly, me as a Mexican, I'd ADORE to become one with Russia. ;) )

    ......KOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOLKOL..........

  • @Snowball502 As long as he stays FAR AWAY from me when he gets in his creepy (and chair destroing) mood with his pipe, I think I can survive for a while. Wait, if I become one with Russia, can I meet Belarus and Poland? Cause they are pretty hilarious!

  • @Snowball502 NEIN! GET MIEN POTATOES, GILBIRD! D:<

  • Anastasia was russian so this language is the right one to sing this song in. beautiful language!

  • @Tumealicious21 yes, it is.. the history was in moscau .. but the original language from this film is in english ´cause honestly.. if u don´t go to UK or USA u haven´t so much posibilities to have a great exit.. sorry do u understand me? im spanish.. and i don´t speak so good english;)

  • this is even more beautiful than the english version! i <3 that movie and this song!!!

  • amusing how a critic said that this is like making a film where "Anne Frank moves to Orlando and opens a crocodile farm with a guy named Mort."

  • @DaveFMAF I would watch that film if they made it, wouldn't you?

  • @madcram probably.

  • My father bought this movie for me when I was little because it is my name as well. I have loved it since then! I must say this version is so much prettier than English...

  • It's so sad of what actually hapened this song sounds so pretty not that it sounds pretty in English

  • this was the first song i memorized in Russian:) and happy it was this one too!:)

  • i kinda like this version better than the english

  • Haha.

In Finnish schools, we learn much about Sweden and Russian. But there is a good reason. ;)

  • I LOVE this version. Personaly i find this on prettier than the english.

  • russia i love you♥

  • it sounds really beautiful. i want to learn russian since i am about 6 years old. i'm 17 now but i don't give up. one day i will learn it. i love this movie. the music is overwhelming! my heart feels so warm when i hear all the high voices together! 3

  • *like

  • it sounds pretty but i loke the english version

  • I Love the Film..but i also know about the history from Anastasia. It's hard and very sad.The reallife also has'nt a good end...oso my daughter i give her the same Name, Anastsia...in memory of the youngster Daughter from the last Zar...sorry for my bad english ^^

  • Мультик классный, но столько ошибок со стороны истории =)

  • It makes sense, Anastasia WAS Russian after all!!! Sounds better this way too.

    :D

  • Anastasia is a very sad movie and it was intended for little kids i used to love it when i was a kid sure but i rewatched it and its teribly sad

  • I need to learn this song, because then english version just doesnt cut it anymore, since I listened to this one.

  • I'm Russian and I like this song

  • I'm Russian and I like this song very much

  • russian is beutifull!!!!

  • Does anyone know who sings this version?

  • I still like the english version better, but russian version sounds more appropriate for anastasia :D

  • I think I broke the replay button. This song is so beautiful in Russian. Perhaps a tad bit more beautiful than it is in English. <3

  • like if ur listenening this song in 2012

  • Goshh, why cant we learn about this in history!!

  • i miss Moscow soo much...

  • Anyone else see a "Save on Bullet Proof Vests" and "Advanced Plate Amour" advertisement???

  • I live in America and I learned about Russia, particularly THIS time period. What schools are you all coming from?

It will never fail to bother me that so many countries think that EVERY AMERICAN is ignorant. We are not, I can assure you of that.

To make this relevant, beautiful song. Love both versions equally.

  • Sounds better but who sings the russian version and who came up with the lyrics?

  • you can get it as an mp3 if you use a youtube to mp3 converter, google it and click the first link..

  • @babyboosabz yeah but it doesn't always sound good, sometimes it's staticky

  • it makes me sad that our american schools never taught us about the soviet union or russia. i personally think its because of the after effects of the cold war. give it time . im sure united states will come around.

  • @louie111887 I learned about it in seventh grade....

  • @louie111887 At my high school there is a Russian History course, but ya ur right, most of the history courses, like World History, skim over the Soviet Union, its never really taught in depth.

  • @louie111887 Do you really just have American History? That's sad.

In Germany we have world history, too. I really love this subject it's so interesting and we can learn from the history :)

  • @TheSchokiMuffins well we do have world history but basically skim over all the other countries history. It's very depressing. : (

  • @TheSchokiMuffins Depending on what kind of classes one takes in high school (regular or advanced), and the quality of the teacher, we do learn about other countries. However, no one country's history really stands out or is emphasized over another.

  • @TheSchokiMuffins (cont'd from below) I think the biggest reason that Americans know little history about the world is not because of the school system, but because many of us believe subconsciously that there is no need to learn anything about other cultures, because "we live in America and America is the best country EVAR." It is a shame.

  • @littlemissmarina we must forget about countries, we are talking about human history, after all, aren't we humans? we should erase borders, physical, mental, and borders in our heart. If some day, we do this, we will truly be humans, we will be one, war will be over, and love will be the supreme law. what a wonderful world this could be, if just, for a little bit, we let our hearts beat at the same time, along with the earth, and the animals.

  • @IrKeNoVa You are a person after my own heart. :)

  • @littlemissmarina That's sad...I like learning about other cultures this way and we can always learn from the past, right? :)

  • Why is this so scary sounding? I feel loke my vital regions will be soon invaded by Russia... .__.

Gos, where are you Belarus?! D:

  • @130cookies so true

  • @130cookies Now is not the time for Hetalia Jokes. Even though I am a Hetalia fan since 2007, comparing nearly everything and a movie to Hetalia is just a bit overboard

  • @PrinceLinkOfDragona ...I'm sorry I'm a noobie. ;u;

  • @130cookies I don't think Russia will come that far :P Belarus will stop him and marry him first!

  • @Meelloohh Si! :D

  • @130cookies Rude....

  • @cupcakesforeverloved ;u; I'm sorry.

  • @130cookies ahhh hetalia... changing our view of history class

  • @renabug97 Delightfuly racist Hetalia~ :D

  • @130cookies ^J^ too late, da. <33

  • @InsanityVonDuex Oh FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Well.. *throws her phone down* There goes my chances of calling Belarus. :T

  • @130cookies ^J^

  • @MaryMustangFMA Really? Then who are "Contemporary Romanovs" (lurk the wiki)?

Emperor Nicolas II the Bloody got what he deserved. There is no one for him to blame for his fate other than himself.

No no, Ana, you put the scarf around your neck, not clumsily shoved in your pocket.

  • Nevím proč, ale u tohohle filmu jsem brečela. A hodně. Romanovci byli povražděni, do jednoho. A anastasia...o té se nic neví. Díky Romanovcům na tom bylo Rusko poměrně dobře. Pak přišla revoluce a bum...komunismus, stalin, lenin...Romanovců je mi líto...a hodně..

THUMBS UP IF YOU DONT UNDERSTAND ME :D (google translate, czech (čeština) )

  • @MaryMustangFMA ...Russia was quite good? I'm sorry but Nicholas was not a good ruler. That's why the revolution occurred and succeeded. I mean, it IS sad what happened to them but Nicholas just did not know what to do. His people were illiterate, the economy was bad, he just wasn't the right kind of guy to be Tsar. Lenin was actually a very good ruler and helped Russia get on its feet a bit. Then Stalin fucked some stuff up and that's where the Soviet Russia stereotypes came from

  • @MaryMustangFMA Oh and btw (i'm not trying to be a know-it-all or anything :( ) Communism itself is a wonderful thing. The very idea of everyone being totally equal and there being no class system and everyone having a job is fantastic. It's just that communism and socialism have received terrible reputations because of bad or violent rulers like Stalin, Mao, Kim Jong, Castro, etc. Everyone thinks of communism as a terrible thing, but in many ways, it's way better than capitalism

  • @KurayamiSuna You made a good point. That´s my opinion as well. I think it´s scary how many (russian) people want the Soviet Union back or praise Stalin...I think monarchy isn´t a good thing to begin with. Lenin was good, yes but Stalin was just bad...

Still sad what happened to them...

  • OMG! There's a special snowflake application for Christmas right now on YouTube videos. It just completes everything beautifully ^^ <3

  • I'd rather translate "в зимний вечер" as "one winter evening", not night. Also, last few lines would be more legible and clear if they were written as one or in quotes, I believe. I mean, like that:

    Someone sang at dawnbreak:

    "Having left your family home,

    you will be in December

    again with me, my dear".

  • across my memories....

  • That is how it suppose to sound :D

  • This song was MADE to be sung in Russian! And I don't get a single word, but it's true!

  • I'm Russian and I know, that it's common for Russians to patriotically support anything, that has anything to do with Russia. Whether it's good or bad. But I'm gonna be plain honest here. This version is the best I've heard so far. It seems like the singer really felt the soul of this song. The voice was gentle, yet very strong and powerful. Brilliant performance! I really enjoyed it! Way better, than the English version.

  • and... about history... i think it's terrible that people from other countries know world's history so bad(( in Russia we learn about other countries a lot i'm soory, i know english very bad)

  • @valsconok Your English is actually pretty good. I could understand it :D.

  • @valsconok just like in Hungary. We learn histor so hard about other countrys.. Russia too, specially Russia because we have some storys together in hte past... but its so bad that in America they dont learn anything.

  • @valsconok people realize Anastasia is far from historical fact though. The movie is just a cute and sometimes grim fairytale with a small bit of truth in it. I do admit you're right though in the fact that most people don't know the real story.

  • @valsconok yes, that sad my mother too. she was borned and grow up in russia and now she lives in germany since 30 years. she sad in russia you learn a lot about history of russia, germany etc. and she things that should also be in germany! :) i love russia :) and the people are great :D..and the song is my favourite song of all disney songs :)

  • @valsconok Actually as a non-russian I can't watch this movie due the real story of the Revolution and the Civil War being so tragic. Aside from that this particular version of the song in Russian is quite nice.

  • @valsconok We have world history in Germany, too :) I think it's mostly because Germany isn't that old and a pretty small country compared to the USA, Canada or Russia :) Nice to hear that it's like that in other countrys, too.

  • ok///i want to try....

    kak uzor na okne

    snova proshloye ryadom

    kto to pyel pesnyu mnye

    v zimnii vecher kogda to

    ooo...it's hard

  • I love this :D

  • I can't believe people would listen to it anything BUT Russian. Kolkolkolkolkolkolkolkolkolkol..... {Thumbs up if you get it!}

  • @MsDreamofDarkness Why thank you. Be careful imitating Poland. I might have to partition you. O.e

  • @XxGothLolixX has somebody been watchin' hetalia xD

Keep Kolkoling like that and Belarus is going to mistake you for someone else.

  • @XxGothLolixX I dont get it O.O

    explaint please :)

  • @manicpsychogirl Well... There is this anime called Hetalia and the characters are literally countries. The character Russia says "kolkolkol" as a way to let you know that you are ticking him off. :) Hope this helps!

  • @munkie2468 hetalia ftw belarus will forever scare but astonish me

  • Russian culture seems very interesting , I think it's rather sad that this country is still suffering the stigma of the ''evil corrupted communist'' propaganda

  • Люблю эту песню!

  • SUPPER!!!!!!!!

  • ЛЮБЛЮ,,,, чудесная песня..........

  • i love this song !! ))

  • HC Metalurg : St. Petersburg - 31:19 :D :D

  • English, Germaqn and Russian are the best versions!

  • @Sebazztion1994 The original is in the movie anastasia russia

  • @victoriajusticefan20 I know that. that's why russian sounds awesome!

  • @Sebazztion1994 i agree ;D

  • It's awesome if you understand the English, Russian and German version. :D I have to say I like the Russian and the German one better than the English....

  • If you want this song, download the Firefox add on for youtube videos.

    It's worth it...

    That is all.

  • guys, if you want the audio, go to zamzar and download it. and I think this song is amazing in russian. way better than the english version. :)
