All detailing shops do this when they do a full Recon on a car. I use to work for a detailing shop, we would clean the engine bay, wheels, tires, door jams, trunk jams, then close every thing and wash the car. It didn't matter if u got a bit of water in the interior because its just gonna be detailed and cleaned later on. After the interiors done we would polish and wax the car.

Everyone is right though. This guy is using chemicals that are NOT safe for car paint. While yes some fo the responses are intense in language. But over time this process this guy is using is very bad for paint. Just because he owns a business doesn't make him an expert. I was also shocked with the condition of the bucket he uses. A lot of scratches that occur on cars that take away from the shine occur in the washing processes with dirty mitts and dirty/abrasive towels.

More reasons for me to NEVER allow anyone who claims to be a cleaning/detaling "specialist" near my vehicles.

Bentley service advises that the factory does not reccomend any wheel cleaner or for that reason 409 on any Bentley wheels. Hand wash with a premium car wash soap and water only!!

Everyone is right though. This guy is using chemicals that are NOT safe for car paint. While yes some fo the responses are intense in language. But over time this process this guy is using is very bad for paint. Just because he owns a business doesn't make him an expert. I was also shocked with the condition of the bucket he uses. A lot of scratches that occur on cars that take away from the shine occur in the washing processes with dirty mitts and dirty/abrasive towels.

More reasons for me to NEVER allow anyone who claims to be a cleaning/detaling "specialist" near my vehicles.
It might take me 2-weeks to complete one single SUV, but I rather take the time and do it myself than allow some moron with a hose and some Zaino to play and experiment with my rides and then regret it later on.

Bentley service advises that the factory does not reccomend any wheel cleaner or for that reason 409 on any Bentley wheels. Hand wash with a premium car wash soap and water only!!

lol wow this dude isnt very good at what he does...at least make it look like your doing a good job for a demo video...he did like 1/3 of the rim, missed a bunch of places around the jams...thats like quickly using a pressure washer on the body so u least some grime on the paint.

surely its easier to just clos ethe doors when hosing and then use the 'chemicals' whatever they are later, rather than soaking all that plush/expensive interior. i mean damn. i understand its a brief detail of how to clean a car in a 3 minute video but jeez. show us u can do it properly by not rushing thru!
