  • You dun it good son. Nice work, sharp truck.

  • At Hollywood I had the same buying experience in 2008. Bought myself a 95 GMC sububan with the 454 c.i. @Hotwheels Museum. Return trip thru las vegas NV and interstate 70/76. Nice trip. only damage frozen windshield washer resevoir in Denver

  • what year caddy steering colum is that? Was it bolt in or did yopu need to play with it?

  • Now, all you need is a cadillac hood ornament! :-) Nice truck!

  • nice job! I have a 84 c30 454 that i am restoring now! I like how you went with an all original look, however thoses cadillac seats are soo ugly that they ruin the inside of the truck!!!

  • Hey man great build! I was woundering how u got those cadillac seats and steering wheel fit into the truck was it an easy thing to do? PLease get back to me.

  • i wanna see a video of it running and what it sounds like

  • always loved these trucks looks nice

  • I'd like to send you my '83 3+3, but... It's in a hopeless condition!!! You did an awesome job on yours! I wish mine could be like it!!

  • I am guessing this is the Brokeback Mountain dually because of the music. Nice work though.

  • Damn she looks nice. I'd love to get my hands on a 1973-1979 era Crew cab dually C-30 Chevy or GMC pickup. I'd paint it yellow with a thick white stripe along with gold pin striping running down the sides of it, jam a fully tuned 572 big block under the hood, put a custom 4x4 drive train under it , put like a 3 or 4 inch lift kit under it, put tubed frame back bar on the bead with 5 smiley faced LED off road lights, tow winch with, a brush guard 4 more LED off road lights, and a fifth wheel.

  • hollla at me my e-mail-keetons4@yahoo.com-would like to get it for my oldman-if we could deal-601-644-0071=crystal -daniel

  • is it for sale???

  • should put some big rig wheels on it

  • Keeping Gas duallies alive! please don't swap it for a Cummins or a Duramax. Keep the classic big block in it. Better yet, put some 6 inch twin stacks on the c30.

  • How to make a bad Chevy even BADDER!! Don't mess with the bow tie, people!

  • you should paint it in two tone but its awsome

  • gonna make me jizz

  • sick azz truck. thats just the kind of truck id have. i like how you put the cadillac seats and steering wheel in it to add comfort lol. good job

  • damn man nice truck man i got a 1987 ford f350 single cab dully 460 gas i want to repaint it becuz the owner didnt take care of the paint how did u repaint ur truck and with wat paint and how much did it cost to do all of that

  • @peter69133 thank you so much to every one who has posted. I am a body man by trade so the main expense is the paint and materials filler primer sand paper paint &reducer & activator $500.00 to $ 1000.00 on supplies depending on how carried away you get. you can get do it yourself tips on paint & body work at car craft or hot rod magazines on line thanks again.

  • THANK you for keeping the side moldings on it :) It's one of the things i like most about the 1970's GM Full Size pickups.

Beautiful restoration. Makes me want a 1979 long bed 4x4 even more

  • Good job looks amazing!!! i love duallys

  • very nice truck, superb job.

  • Wheresis you get the trim molding that goes up next to the fender flares?

  • @RustyCarnahan standard item if truck was ordered w/silverado trim package other than that scrounge for used or check LMC.COM

  • @captnmike642 LMC has nothing for 1 ton trucks, let alone duallies, but thanks for the reply :)

  • @RustyCarnahan just my 2cents but from what i have read and seen the fender trim on the duallies are obsolete and no longer being reproduced but you can order the fender trim for a silverado package long bed chevy and it would be equal to whats on the duallie if its even being produced cause again from what ive seen its just about obsolete to find any trim like on this guys truck

  • i'm sorry to tell you but this isn't hotel california youtube messed up your video

  • @dartdude13: He probably already knows ;-).

  • i love the 78 front ends i have the same truck but its an 84 and i want the 78 79 front end on it mine came from oklahoma customised by choo choo customs of tennessee

  • It can be done you'll need complete front clip ,plus about six inches of the frame ends and the shorter wiper stands. I've also converted newer front clips to older cabs to I.E. 81-87 front onto 73-80 cab.
