Second, I remember we were on a FTX on a ROK Marine Base in Po Hong. It was like 28 degrees outside and these guy were running in shorts and T-shirt. I was like damn sucks to be them. But for the most part Korean soldiers are nothing to bragg about. They are forced to serve and therefore their heart isn't in it.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I saw any training that the United States doesn't do as well. Beside that fact, I have to agree with some of the previous comments. "Muscle cannot stop a bullet" While the Koreans may be built to be stronger. The U.S. will always be more advanced in it's Tactics and technological capabilities. And for the record, the U.S Special Forces handles a lot of Korea's training, a long with several other countries.

these are not pics of regular ROK army. this is a spec op group. there is a huge difference between a regular soldier and a lifer in korea. dont get me wrong. the ROK rangers we worked and trained with were some of the best soldiers i have ever seen. but the average ROK soldier does not train like this. far from it. one of the pics was the group on cheju do island. i know because i trained there. it is the joint army mountaineering school and regular ROK or US soldiers didnt attend.

It's a little inflammatory to assume one is better than the other. This video doesn't actually say that though. I like the montage and the music, I respect the South Korean military, and I believe they have a great deal of strength and tenacity. I prefer to think of US allies as equals though rather than someone in competition, we are after all on the same side.

I'm sorry, but I don't think I saw any training that the United States doesn't do as well. Beside that fact, I have to agree with some of the previous comments. "Muscle cannot stop a bullet" While the Koreans may be built to be stronger. The U.S. will always be more advanced in it's Tactics and technological capabilities. And for the record, the U.S Special Forces handles a lot of Korea's training, a long with several other countries.

these are not pics of regular ROK army. this is a spec op group. there is a huge difference between a regular soldier and a lifer in korea. dont get me wrong. the ROK rangers we worked and trained with were some of the best soldiers i have ever seen. but the average ROK soldier does not train like this. far from it. one of the pics was the group on cheju do island. i know because i trained there. it is the joint army mountaineering school and regular ROK or US soldiers didnt attend.

It's a little inflammatory to assume one is better than the other. This video doesn't actually say that though. I like the montage and the music, I respect the South Korean military, and I believe they have a great deal of strength and tenacity. I prefer to think of US allies as equals though rather than someone in competition, we are after all on the same side.
