Also open up daedalus the one withut %on the end and put roms in rom folder!

To everyone having trouble:

1.For this to be easier dont get r14 use r13.

2.Drag Daedalus and Daedalus% into game150.

3.If you dont have game150 make it just new folder and rename game150.

4.If you have custom firmware go to recovery mode (hold power up till psp goes off completely then boot up while holding r)then go to configuration and enable boot homebrew with 150 kernel go on daedalus and wala!

The PS1 emulator was made by Sony, and they know both the PS1 and N64's hardware inside out.

It was no problem for them to make a near perfect PS1 emulator (even better than a lot of PS1 emulators on the PSP).

well, if u think about it, the nintendo 64 has a 93 MHz processer, a 62.5 MHz GPU, and low ram, the PSP is capable to emulate it if you can do it right, daedalus is getting better, and one day, it will be the best!

Actually the psp has more power then a ps2 in specs (the slim does even more so) when the psp is playing a ps1 game using popsloader,and cfw, it is not emulation, but rather running natively! That is why ps1 games are flawless on the system. Nintendo uses a different archetecture, the emulator needs to be optimized to act like the n64 cpu. Without access to engineering docs, its alot of guess work. emulator is young has been improving, the creator working sound on the ME chip of the psp for R14

i dont fully understand emulation, so why is it that the the system doing the emulation must be more powerful than the system being emulated? also, does the psp really have a 400+ mhz processor?

The psp has a 333mhz processor with 4 Mbyte embedded cache ram, 32/64Mbyte(for slim) main ram, a 166mhz gpu with floating point co-prosseor(vec units), and a media engine chip. The gpu can do 33million polys/second, and is quite strong. Emulation requires a stronger machine because it is code that runs the games on a virtual cpu, not the real thing. Analogy would be 3d game in software mode rather then hardware accl.

HUD as in Heads Up Display, which is usually the interface that shows your health, lives, map, or what place your in a racing game. It's missing in Super Mario 64 in R11, it should be fixed in R12 though along with SSB compatibility. For neogeo roms I think you need to convert it to play them, you'd also need the bios.

Not sure, I find that mario64 runs at a decent speed for me so I leave it off. Are you using daedalus r11 btw? I'm still on r10 because the HUD on mario64 is broken on r11.

Ya 9 minutes was kinda long, didn't even realise it was that long when I was playing. Didn't feel like editing it either. Oh well, you don't have to watch all 9 minutes of some loser playing mario kart. ;)
