  • Real Brother here.

I'm a UW Grad and I'm proud of ya' Bro. There were more then a few of us there when I was holdin' down the HUB. I too am publishing my Novel "Temperature Rising" my question is how do you put the barcode on the back one-piece cover? Also on a 6 x 9 Book want font size is best? Other then that check me out on Twitter Realbrother0003 Good luck to you and go Huskies!

    TKCAL

  • @Realbrother3 Thank you! Your graphic designer(often times you) will need to add the bar code onto the back cover. So its essentially part of the design. When you order your bar code it is usually emailed to you and from there.

For font you might want to think more about how long you want your book to be. Larger font for more pages. I wanted my book to be very short and digestible for students so I went with a size 11 font. Please let me know if you have any more questions.

  • dope!

  • LOl, buying your own book. Congrats to your success with the book! The UW has a nice (but big campus), and I love their bookstore. I'm planning on Transferring to the UW hopefully next year.

  • I really like this book. Anyone who gets the point of the title should have it.

  • @ABRILO2006 Thank you very much! I would love your feedback on it once you have had a chance to read it.

  • how did you do that for your book to be in the store like that ?

  • @j000094 I recommend starting off with smaller independent bookstores and see if they will carry a couple copies of your book in their stores. Once you are able to prove there is a demand for your book, you can submit to larger bookstores as well as consolidated book distributors. Hopefully that was helpful and if you have anymore questions keep them coming.

  • @lullmengesha

  • One word......... INSPIRING.

  • why did he buy his own book ?

  • great question. I did if for a few reasons, one I was really excited when I found out it was finally at bookstores and second I wanted to capture the experience for my family and friends. I still have the receipt in my bedroom:)

  • @lullmengesha Congratulations Lull, you are an inspiration to everyone else who wishes to become an author one day. You had a vision, you had a plan, and you put in the time and hard work to make it happen. Brian.

  • @LoveMattersMost Thank you Brian. It was a long but rewarding Journey. Try to capture as many of your experiences as possible.

  • Why wouldn't you? If you won't buy your own book then how can you expect anyone else to?
