I think that it is, at some point, very difficult to expose yourself as an artist without seeming sort of.. inward. What she says about her relationship with "Antony" (I'm assuming 'antony' of antony and the johnsons) seems to me less fueled by a need to prove something than a personal excitement about the novelty of such a relationship.. but maybe I'm just favoring her because I really like cocorosie's music. They effectively hold a mirror to themselves artistically as a single unit.
