  • My Grandmother wrote the article in True Treasure Magazine, she worked closely with Babe. My Grandparents joined the expedition in the 70's into White Sands. If anyone actually listened to Babe, they would have already found it. My biggest fear is, the Military already must have found the treasure, and there is a Officer or someone with gold rims on his jeep.

  • Oh, by the way there is no "Iron door" on the entrance to the mountain. I can say this for sure. Yes there is a road to it but nothing else.

If you want to know more about this there are a few articles from the very early ninties on the White Sands Missle Range site. Just click on the Public Affairs link and look for the stories of Victorio Peak. There is much more factual information on there.

  • Fascinating stuff here. I saw the story of the Victorial Peak treasure on Unsolved Mysteries this morning, and had to find more on it. Good interview.

  • Very interesting. I lived on WSMR a while back and was told Doc owned the ranch within site. Told his claim had been taken over by the military on land where I lived but not Victorio Peak. I was told it was at the base of the Organ Mt's. Guess I was told wrong.

    Cool story ...could be true.

  • @XJFiles it sounds like you are talking about the Beasley homestead. it is in the organs. military made them leave as far as i know. maybe a mixup of the two.
