This game, like every Sonic game, has music that can only be described by words such as "fantastic". It's a shame that I got far too sick of the night levels within the first three hours of this particular game that I haven't felt motivated to pick it up since. It's especially a shame because the daytime levels are really pretty fun. They're just not worth the torturous night levels.

My 1 goal with this game was to unlock "Endless Possibilities" in sound test, but it just wasn't worth replaying all the werehog levels for the secret capsules. I settled for replaying this boss a million times before I finally traded in the game. I still wish the game would've let me skip the Sonic half of the battle.

@ViewtifulRain Yup. Perfect Chaos, Final Hazard, Metal Overlord, Devil Doom, Solaris, Alf Layla Wa Layla, the Dark Queen and Perfect Dark Gaia. Sonic has a fetish for epic bosses that require super transformations. I always felt that was a trademark of Sonic, along with the one-time gimmicks like the side characters, the Team gameplay, Caliburn, Werehog, etc. Sad that Colors was absent of both traditions...

@vgman94 I don't know I prefer Eggman to random monster of the week.The only super fight that had eggman as the final boss was Sonic 3&Knuckles. Eggman is the main villain he needs to be the final boss more often.Don't get me wrong I like super fights,but there has been too many and alot of them are the same.Metal Sonic was fine he was Sonic's true rival.

@vgman94 True, but colors had the gimmick of different colored aliens that gave you powers when combined with them. That, and super sonic was fully playable in the wii version (while the DS version had a spectacular boss fight as super sonic against the Mother Wisp Nega.) I don't blame him though, being in super form is fun, and a regular boss would be too easy as a super form, so he needs a challenge.

@Chibinuva Those were power-ups in gameplay terms more than real gimmicks. Super Sonic in the Wii version felt unimpressive. Not much was interesting as to what he could do. It wasn't bad, but Super Sonic could be handled better.
