Sorry, but he definitely is not "one of the best ever". With the exception of Doherty, the other 4 have won around the mark of 20 ranking titles(36 for Hendry) compared to Ebdons paltry 8, and 3 non ranking events, again the others winning close to 20 nonranking( again hendry 36). The exception to the rule ,doherty only 6 ranking, 12 nonranking titles(accumitively more than ebdon), is that it has been stated time and again, by just about every expert, that doherty was a gross underachiever.

His whole style of play, what he did with ronnie, and how he broke into tears like a little girl afterwards when being questioned about the sportsmanship of his tactic.
