I think it's great that your taking time out to begin with and trying to figure out how to please everyone... Meaning your contract agreement and your fans...

I think sending out drops announcing your name with a Dj name by your side is showing great love right there. As opposed to just using only your name whereas that may breach your contract especially If someone uses your drop for a party record.

Bottom line is I'm sure your making more fans just showing that your trying to find a solut

Now it makes sense to me why drop requests aren't fufilled. Very Understandable. It's a little tough when under contract. Sort of like a double edged sword. The only thing I can suggest would be to see if there is any room to re-negotiate your contract with AV8 where it works out in all favors. I don't have a specific way but I would say that this way is the best way to go. I hope it works out because I would love to receive a drop from the Voice Of Da Club himself.

That should work you get paid for all day

cus you are using your voice to sell a product i think the happy medium is that if some one turns it into a song or something to sell then you should get a royalty payment for services rendered if it is just a drop for working or radio dj's fm internet xm then I feel they should get a pass cus it is just promo for you and a free ad just my opinion

Fatman Scoop should set an afforable "flat-fee" for a basic "no scream" drop. Intro, FMS, Your DJ name, You are in the mix with DJ (insert DJ name).

I defintely agree with djimixdetroit.

I dont think people should expect the drops for free. Everyone in the clubs knows your voice and i think DJ's are more than happy to pay for the service you provide and its defintely worth the money. If the DJ's are expecting you to do it for free they shouldnt be in the game. If someone asked them to DJ for free im 100% sure they would charge for it and i think you should charge to. Keep up the good work bro

I understand the problem behind the Drops! You are right and you have to do your thing! I asked you for a drop a long time ago, and you told me about the DJ who made a track out of your drop. I did support for a lot of US acts including Missy and the only drops I have, come from interviews I did for my radio shows. I will support you and your songs anyway, because you are a honest artist. And there are not that many left in this business!

Yo Fatman Scoop! I love the way you bring it on. I believe your vocals take any song to another level, fo sho! With that said, opening your vocals for drops to whatever drip DJ out there will give those drip DJ assumed credits they may not be worthy of.

On the other hand, this is America and you should be able to capitalize on what you do, right? Maybe change your name and create a new persona, like the Artist Formally Known As Prince. Food for thought.

I don't want drops from you Bro, but I still support you. There's 1000's of DJ's out here and most (NOT ALL) of em are Busters. Keep your drops exclusive; over saturation will dilute your product. Just my opinion Scoop, but what do I know. I respect you for bringing it right at DJs through YouTube and explaining your predicament.
