You ain't kidding...his name is Jean Beauvior and he did some co-writing on the 1985 KISS album "Asylum." You want to see his best Paul Stanley moves, check out his solo video for "Feel the Heat." Awesome song and he is doing all his Paul Stanley moves.
Yeah, really! I just watched 'Feel the Heat'.. This guy Jean's just amazing! :)) Thanks for this information, smitchix, I never knew anything about him a week ago.. But he seems really cool to me:)) Thanks a lot!
I don't care what my brother looks like, he's bonafide fire. Now you see why so many great bands don't make it, it's because more ppl are concerned about how he looks. The music is awesome, makes me proud to be African American!!
I saw this video in the early nineties and never heard from the band ever again. This was a great tune - much better than most of shit that was being passed about back then.

Why didn't his album get released stateside because I loved Jean Beauvoir, Miki Free and Tony Thompson and between Total Eclipse, Mother's Finest and COT during 1992-1994 these band was keeping classic rock alive in the era of detuned guitar and my parents hate me please "kill me" lyrics.
menuda pandilla de hijos de piiiiiiiii estan hechos...CROWN OF THORNS solo hay unos y son los death metaleros suecos..mekawennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn todooooooooo
If that's the 1994 Marquee gig, their debut show, I was at that bloody gig! I only went because I'd heard Paul Stanley had some input in their album, and of course the KISS/Beauvoir connections. Brilliant show, stunning album, great bloke. They tried to buck the trend of all the miserable music around at the time. CoT should have been HUGE.
For the debut album the line-up was; Jean Beauvoir (guitars/vocals), Micki Free (lead), Michael Paige (bass), and Tony Thompson (drums). The drummer was soon replaced with Hawk Lopez (that's Lopez in this video). Free also left in 1995 and was replaced by Tommy Lafferty. Not sure what happened to Micki Free...
Anybody see them a few years ago at Hard Rock, really great should have been further up the bill.....

Jean kicked ass ever since he played with the pasmatics! Cool guy!
Somebody here said this band made him proud to be african american...
I dont get that. "White" people could do this just as good, while "coloured" people could do our stuff just as good. Its about talent. Not race.
Jean makes me proud to be a human. Colour is only skin deep. Music is universal.

I think guys in the song "dying for love" actually Paul Stanley make the backing vocals....so it's relative..:P
