I've always preferred the 2 stick controls on both track loaders and wheel loaders they just seem to be more precise and give me better control, just old school I guess. Great video keep'em coming.
p.s. tell Eva to speed it up she's burning daylight, Lol.
me i am from the chicago area and here we have both single and 2 stick track loaders most guys here prefer the 2 stick with track loaders and joystick with wheel loaders now i prefer the 2 stick when grading or cutting but when it comes to loading trucks i prefer the joystick so really it all depends on operator preference and any good loader operator can run it either way
Sorry Vapor300 only old hard head operator like the assbackwards two stick. Its the 21st century. It must be where your from... almost all the new cats where i live get ordered with single joystick... and a option from the dealer to switch it back out for the two stick. That is how 70% of Holts orders come.
@culllloooo Im only 25 years old! I have ran both and prefer 2 stick. Holt. so i take it your from TX, ive spent the last few years working down there and havent seen a highlift yet that had the 2 stick, and im willing to bet you have never ran one with a 2 stick either. Put a good operator that likes the 2 stick up against the good operator that likes the joystick and i would bet money the 2 stick is faster and smoother!
@Vapor300 Have to ran a two stick and i damn shure didnt stay in it long! As i can tell from all of the comments on this video that almost everybody else perfers the single joystick over the two stick. You can like what you want to but is all i am saying is one day you will have to let it go. It is like everbody hates foot controls in a skidsteer but for some reason they still make them. I can count the number of people i know that like two stick on one hand. Everybody else likes the single.
@culllloooo There isnt many guys that know how to run them down there, and they dont use highlifts down there as much as we do up here in the midwest, i gurantee you cannot find a highlift with joystick control within 100 miles from St. Louis, EVERYONE around here likes the 2 stick!
@Vapor300 I think alot of it depends on youre dealer and what they have flooded the market with in your area. If a guy starts on a 2 stick i am shure that that is all he will like to run and visversa with a single stick.
Is going to school for this trade a waste of money in relation to money spent vs job availability? Should a guy just try and find a company willing to take you on a train? At a pivotal point in my life, wanting something new and not so boring! Love your vids by the way! More Jeeping!! OIIIIIO
@Vapor300 How can you be faster with twin stick? You have 2 controls to use instead of 1 combined function joystick. Track loaders controls are reversed from joysticks. Your loader lift is closest to you, and bucket curl/dump is reversed. Pulling back dumps it, and ahead curls. When doing backfill work and using the loader 100% of the time instead of load and carry... your fingers will thank you.
@vantagetes I have ran the 2 stick alot and i just think it is faster, you can be lot more precise when it comes to dumping and lifting the bucket at the same time, or whenever you have to use both functions at the same time, i ran a new 53D this summer with the joystick and hated it. Maybe its just the joystick, i also hate the joystick control in the new G model scrapers to, i like the F series controls.
@Vapor300 Thats like people saying a 4 stick Case is smoother or faster than a 2 stick Case. The only difference is the joystick itself. You have a small cross link to make the joystick work, the valves and everything else is the same. Saying someone is smoother on a 2 stick vs the joystick comes down to one thing... the operator. Watch our videos, watch the smooth and consistent operation not one track loader in our videos is twin stick.
@vantagetes Well everyone were im from does not like the joystick, matter of face there proably isnt a joystick sittin on the lot at any of are local cat dealers cause everyone prefers the 2 stick, im sure if i would of started out on a joystick id prefer it, but ill stick with the 2 stick
@fishproet yeah me to, i just think im faster and much smoother on a two stick, are company had a new 63C and i choose to subgrade on are old B just because it had the 2 stick!
My girlfriend is a Heavy Equipment Operator... Very good money.

@vantagetes
Gotta agree with you here.
We have both joystick. and 2lever versions on our WA320 (komatsu)
But i prefer joystick over 2lever anytime
in my experience you can be just as precise with the joystick as your used to with 2levers. (i grew up with 2 aswell fyi)
i started with a Volvo 4300b loader with like 40-50cm levers
Then went to Volvo L70c loaders with 5cm levers.
and then to joysticks.
I love joysticks. maybe because i operate excavators aswell. i dunno ;)

The world of heavy equipment operating needs more women to run large machines, they look better and don't have beer guts.

@vantagetes I like watching women operate, more jiggling from the Northern hemisphere, jiggling from the Southern area is iccky.
