John Edwards must know that Razgovorov was offered the chance to defect while Sutch was being taken away for questioning. He and an SIS officer talked for over an hour, which included the chance to defect, before he was collected by the Russians, he flatly refused, so why would he go to Sutch before, especially while he had family in Russia? That story Edwards tells doesn't stack up, and is completely different from the one Sutch himself gave, in his letter and to the court.
