But the problem is that honestly the producers and directors attempted to film the movie at the academy but since the movie "wasnt authentic enough" the academy shut their doors. Supposedly they made the movie was made "without their permission" However the filmakers fucked up where they could have at least edited the script to satisfy the higher-ups of the naval academy.

This movie was bullshit. This should be shown in film schools about how NOT to make a film. Especially, the screenwriting part. Nothing to do with the Academy, nothing to do with the Navy. The studio executives should be fined for misleading millions to believe this would be about Annapolis!

ESPN made a movie about West Point..it was about the football cheating scandal back in the 50s or 60s..the movie sucked..and the chair force academy hasn't done anything great to deserve a movie..GO NAVY, BEAT EVERYONE!
