This show was THE DEAL. Today with shows like Gossip Girl , Beverly Hills 90210 its just so not representative of Americas households and other households around the world .Im sick of seeing people on these shows wearing Gucci and Armani from head to toe while others are struggling to pay off their studies. Television has gone so bad I miss the concept of Heartbreak high. It was probably one of the best shows out there for teens.

Of course . It was a worldwide show. Even in Palestine , the show was broadcasted. There was also ocean girl that was shown in Montreal as well as many other australian tv series. Australia has great tv series that represents real life situations. Heartbreak high was the best ever made. America cant produce those kind of series anymore because the youth today is only based on materialism and consumerism (money,clothes,cars,shops,trav­els,boyfriends,girlfriends,alc­ohol etc) it sucks!

Yeah nowadays American soaps have gone way too superficial, but Heartbreak high was internationally well received because it dealt with a more urban, multicultural Australia. The first season was the best, the second was good after that it went downhill fast!!

I remember it being quite hard hitting and the pilot episode or the first one, dealing with racism in the school and it not being a happy ending. I think it lost its way with the amount of characters it had dying too, just from this first clip, both Nick and Steve died, along with the teacher's (Yola?) partner too.

It has a lot of Greek people in the cast. I mean Neighbors is set in Melbourne and not ONCE have they had Greek peple in it. WTF is that about.
