I'm saying that cause if you compare Underclass Hero with Does This Look Infected, you can easily see how they changed through the years. The reality is that some people automatically assume that any band that plays rock is popular and not punk when they have some outrageously "attractive" male member whom girl fawn over. I honestly think that people automatically assume that just because there is a fanatic crowd of girls to be had at all of their concerts the band is no longer punk and automatically pop. It's all up to interpretation, and you just listen to what pleases your ear regardless of categorization.

idk Sum 41 changes their genre alot. All Killer No Filler and Half Hour of POwer are pure punk in my mind. Does this look infected and Chuck are more alternative Hard Rock. And Underclass hero seemed very poppy. Best of me and With Me arent Sum 41 at all. But their still good songs. Also i do think punk be close to mainstream because in the 80's the exploited got played on Top of Pops in england and the cro mags were on MTV several times in te 80's along with gbh once.
