I like everyone they are good. Every time I see this video I laugh out lound because it is funny. I hope cmt plays the dukes of hazzard forever and that mean season five. And Coy and Vance on in season five for only 18 episodes. What is wrong with Coy and Vance. I like them and I like Bo and Luke too. The dukes of hazzard is a good show. in the summer of 1982 before the start of filming of the 5th season, john schneider and tom wopat walked off the set due to compensation issues in regards to licensing of products (there was dukes of hazzard EVERYTHING back then, i still have a lot of it) and were absent from the show for about 2/3 of the 5th season with their absense being explained by them going onto the NASCAR circuit. they were still on probation so i don't know how that was possible but oh well.
I did something very similar showing off while jumping into a hot tub front of some bikini clad honeys... Man, I really busted my ass bone... Couldn't sit down on the job for two weeks (Boss was happy)
It's been 28 years, and I can't believe people are still mad about the Coy/Vance thing. It's not like they stole Bo and Luke's place. They chose to leave. I admit when they first came, I had to get used to them, but I grew to like them. So he fell out of the General Lee? Big deal.

I thought there characters were ok. Everyone says the problem was them was they replaced Bo and Luke, but the problem I always had with them was they were bad actors compared to the original dukes.

lol here's an insiders scoop for you. I was at the Graham Norton show in November 07 when the three cousins were there - John, Tom and Cathy. During a break in filming Graham and the audience begged Tom and John to slide in the General they had in the studio. Tom and John went to do it but soon turned and shook they're head. They then told us that after shooting the first episodes, the producers cut the door locks off the General after Tom badly cut his back on it ;) So there ya go. :)
Personally, I find its much easier and better for one's paint to just climb through the window as opposed to "jumping" through. I too am opposed to using the doors, but see no need to totally wreck the paint.
Jumping through the window is not that easy. I practice on my General lee haha. John Schnieder(BO)is a tall guy and he makes jumping through the window look easy. Thats why he is the REAL BO.
I know, it takes practice to get that good. Everyone thinks it's so easy. But I dare em to try it, they'll probably wind up like this.XD Cause if you notice, in the first season they got in somewhat slow. But by the end of the series they could fly right in! They also had trouble getting in the other side's window cause they weren't used to it.
On a documentary about the show, John Schneider said the producers had Mayer and Cherry watch several old episodes of the show and told them to act as much like Schneider and Tom Wopat as possible, right down to voice inflections, the way they moved their arms, everything. Even if that's the case, not much of it showed up on screen. It was a dumb stunt that cost the show a lot of viewers that didn't come back even when Bo and Luke returned.

but Byron cherry's son (Byron Jr.) has been killed in a car crash.

@nascargas Like I said, there is no episode like that with Coy or Vance . I have the whole series and there is no episode like that in the 18 shows they did. The Ghost Of General Lee season 2 where the General went into Hazzard Pond after it was stolen from Bo and Luke, and at first everybody thought Bo and Luke was dead but that is it.

I personally liked Coy & Vance better after watching the reruns as an adult.They should have been just themselves as opposed to imitating Bo & Luke,but that was the producer's fault and not Byron Cherry & Christopher Mayer's.

I thought there characters were ok. Everyone says the problem was them was they replaced Bo and Luke, but the problem I always had with them was they were bad actors compared to the original dukes.

lol here's an insiders scoop for you. I was at the Graham Norton show in November 07 when the three cousins were there - John, Tom and Cathy. During a break in filming Graham and the audience begged Tom and John to slide in the General they had in the studio. Tom and John went to do it but soon turned and shook they're head. They then told us that after shooting the first episodes, the producers cut the door locks off the General after Tom badly cut his back on it ;) So there ya go. :)

Personally, I find its much easier and better for one's paint to just climb through the window as opposed to "jumping" through. I too am opposed to using the doors, but see no need to totally wreck the paint.

Jumping through the window is not that easy. I practice on my General lee haha. John Schnieder(BO)is a tall guy and he makes jumping through the window look easy. Thats why he is the REAL BO.

I know, it takes practice to get that good. Everyone thinks it's so easy. But I dare em to try it, they'll probably wind up like this.XD Cause if you notice, in the first season they got in somewhat slow. But by the end of the series they could fly right in! They also had trouble getting in the other side's window cause they weren't used to it.

On a documentary about the show, John Schneider said the producers had Mayer and Cherry watch several old episodes of the show and told them to act as much like Schneider and Tom Wopat as possible, right down to voice inflections, the way they moved their arms, everything. Even if that's the case, not much of it showed up on screen. It was a dumb stunt that cost the show a lot of viewers that didn't come back even when Bo and Luke returned.

@nascargas Like I said, there is no episode like that with Coy or Vance . I have the whole series and there is no episode like that in the 18 shows they did. The Ghost Of General Lee season 2 where the General went into Hazzard Pond after it was stolen from Bo and Luke, and at first everybody thought Bo and Luke was dead but that is it.
