  • @GeGeMus12 I read all of your comments... and from other videos... You are a straight up hater... why don't you mind your own business... Why are you so bothered if we are proud and happy to be who we are? Probably we have something that you don't have... Stop hating... be happy.

  • Filipinos are extremely delusional

  • @MissAbdo27 Those people in the video are really of spanish descent even if they don't look the part... I can't blame most delusional Filipinos for that... they are just lost with the Spanish and American influence over the past hundred years... I'm here looking for answers... who am I? where did I really come from? and what is it that you hate? do you hate us if we quack like a duck and walk like a duck... but we are not ducks at all?

  • @DLostSheep Do you wish you were more asian or more spanish? On the one hand you want to be spanish yet I know many of you who say latina women are ugly. so which is it?

  • @MissAbdo27 I find latina women to be very beautiful... the person who thinks the opposite must be a straight up hater... To tell you the truth, at one point in my life I want to be more asian... but i don't have the small asian eyes and I don't feel so welcome in an asian community in which I grew up. Surprisingly, I feel more welcome in a latino community where people look at me like a true brother and not lesser than who they are... I don't wish to be someone that I am not.

  • @DLostSheep I am half Arab half Filipino. I look Spanish/Latina/Italian. Growing up I had two types of relatives. Ones that treated me really nice because I look mestiza and ones that were jealous of me and my mother. I sometimes feel more at home with my Arab side since filipinos can be a bit annoying at times. Glad you seem like you're own person.

  • @MissAbdo27

latin doesn't mean spanish, please stop the stupidity.

latin: Italy, france, spain, portugal, romania, iberoamerica.

There's no latin "race". Latins can be of any race, white, yellow, native american, mestizos, black, etc.. So stop watching US movies and TV.

  • @argiemerc Who the hell asked you? I was using the word loosely. You apparently got the gist of what I was saying yet felt the need to correct me? You must a filipino lol

  • They don´t look spanish (from Spain) at all. Maybe spanish gypsies, or spanish inmigrants...

  • @amebaloca1 A very nice observation... I thought of that too... I do agree with you. Probably some spanish gypsies migrated to Philippines... who knows? The Galleon leaves from Seville where the gypsies live. They were able to migrate to a lot of places and Philippines is not an exception.

  • all phillipinos have Spanish decent...

  • @mariella1007 not all... trust me.

  • @mariella1007 Less than 3% are Spanish descent in the Philippines.

  • @TheCooldude1987 lol Where did you come up with that?

Also, a lot of people don't realize that Spain never ruled the Philippines. Mexico did. Just with Spanish authority. Doubt any Spanish ever made it to the Philippines, as it was Pacific only route.

There is a reason Filipinos look and speak Mexican. And act the same way. Like not working, and trying to escape their country...

  • @onggoytatay It's easy, reading books and doing some research my friend.

  • @onggoytatay You are ignorant. You shouldn't generalize. I am mexican and I am a working woman who is happy living in México. I am also well educated and able to answer you in your own language so you can understand it. Because what you truly deserve is a "cállate pendejo". :)

  • @onggoytatay La Republicas Filipinas And The United Mexican States Have Many Thins in Common Nanay Komote Tatay Tsampurado Bayabas Sayote In Republica Filipinas Nana Camote Tata Chapunrrado Guayabas Chayote In The United Mexican States Commonly Known As Mexico

  • @onggoytatay Spain directly ruled the Philippines & other Spanish East Indies territories right after Mexico gain it's independence during 1821. It ended during 1898 after the American-Spanish War.

  • @impinai79 Perhaps. I am not aware of it. Even so, I would say Spain 'directly' ruled the Philippines for 77 years, not "over 300" as you always hear.

I guess I'm on a bit of a crusade. I am Pilipino, and I just found out Spain didn't REALLY rule us. I think there are a lot of important historical, political, and cultural implications to the fact that Mexico ruled us....

  • @onggoytatay Spain still have it's role to the Philippines within the New Spain (Mexico) Viceroyalty because they governed us for Spain right?

  • @impinai79 Yes. It was 'officially' Spain, but really Mexico. he highest political leaders maybe were Spanish, but there are a lot of other factors ignored by only saying it was Spain.

There was no trade route with Spain and the Philippines. The people who came to the Philippines under Spanish authority were mostly not Spanish. They were Mexican, American Indian, Arab, and African. They also brought their respective cultures with them.

  • @impinai79 I also hate to say this, but the whole "I'm a mestiza, cus my family is Spanish, Pinoy Pride!" not only makes sense, but is highly unlikely. White skin tones is probably a sign that grandma had some kind of affair with a US soldier years ago...

  • @onggoytatay *makes no sense* ;)

  • @onggoytatay Spain ruled Mexico and Mexico ruled Philippines for Spain so the Spain still ruled the Philippines. Although a lot of Mexican culture and people also mix the population due to Acapulco-Galleon Trade. Many of the Filipino and Mexican crew, slaves and sailor jump ship during the Galleon trade and settled in Mexico and Philippines for more than 300 yrs.

  • @impinai79 Thank you

  • @GeGeMus12 About our own culture? We don't have one! We only have the Spanish and Chinese culture mixed up... The culture of the natives that lives in the mountain like american indians is not ours... I don't like Filipinos who try so hard to be spanish but whether we like it or not the spanish culture is always within us...

  • @DLostSheep you know one thing that is very interesting about the filipines is that it has so many different cultures. apart from its own indigenous culutures, it has chinese, indian, muslim, spanish, mexican amerindian cultures, japanese and american (USA)...there are probably more than that but those are all that I know. I know this because I am Mexican and the New Spain (now present day Mexico) and the filipines had largely intertwined over the last decades in culture, traditions, language

  • @supermonk3y07 I'm surprise with how much knowledge you have... It is true that a lot mexican-spanish soldiers were sent to the Philippines and they settled in ciudad de zamboanga... I actually have Filipino friends who can trace their mexican roots which is really cool...

  • @GeGeMus12 Usted tiene rason... some Filipinos think they are spanish even they don't look like one... and I've seen this type of people in real life... not in youtube... but I tell you what... About 95% of my Filipino friends never thought or accepted the fact that they are spanish. They know who they are and proud.

  • jackie rice isn't a spanish decendant, their father is a real foreigner

  • Most of these may have Spanish blood but most of them are unmistakeably Asian-looking. Put them side by side with a European and you know straightaway. Only a very small number of Spaniards settled in the Philippines. They did not have the very obvious contribution to the local gene pool that you see in South America. So stop trying hard to build up a Spanish dimension that is not there. PILIT! Colonial mentality is alive and well it seems.

  • ANO BA KAYO LAHAT! Not all people from Spain, Europe are beautiful. I know this neighbor of mine whose dad is from Bas, Spain (Below France) and his dad isn't really handsome at all. Some people even mistaken them for being bumbay/indian. They have the Arab/Indian look because Spain was once invaded by arabs that's why some Spanish people look bumbayin/arab. His eyes aren't really deep set like most europeans have and his skin is not white, just tan due to the fact that his ancestors may be arab

  • @ebonydiospyrosferrea Yes, you're right spaniards have 10 percent bloodline from the semites, arabians and spaniards are also related to the so called "moors". They share similar ancestors they are almost similar.....

  • beauty is in the EYES of the COLONIZER

  • Guapisimas las Filipinas Españolas! y las otras tambien!

  • @epitpik You Are Right Filipinos Are Asians Colombians Are Americans Algerians Are Africans Filipinas= Rey Felipe II De Espana Spanish People Are Europeans

  • All beautiful mastisas

  • there are so many mexicans in philippines before americans came over because of galleon trade between acapulco, mexico and manila, philippines. now tell me in your right mind ...do you think mexican sailors stay celibate for over centuries plying that route. it is also written in philippines history that mexicans influence music and festivities...there's even town called mexico.///

  • Comment removed

  • @eugenecod It's not just the galleon trade. Escolta as a very busy business district before like Makati. Mostly foreign traders located there.

  • @eugenecod There is an old videos of how the Escolta Manila used to be until American Colonization. There is a video Old Manila and Escolta, Manila Year 1903 video posted on youtube.

  • I dont know why other south east asians don't seem to claim their western bloodline so much often as the Filipinos.I rarely hear indonesian claim their dutch roots lol vietnamese, laos /french and Burmese /english.

  • @nooneknow666 cause they were just colonized them for like few years only unlike the Philippines it's 333 yrs (1565-1898) under Spain, 2 yrs from British Occupation but Manila only (1762-1764), 48 yrs (1898-1946) under the United States, (1941 - 1945) then 4 yrs during WWII from Japanese invasion there are other countries tried to invade us but failed.

  • @impinai79 lol yry to learn indonesian history ... indonesian colonized by the dutch more than 350 years ...just so you know indo-dutch in indonesia is more abundant than mestizo in the philippines...and indonesian-dutch people is the largest minority in netherlands...

  • @kiranfardhela they were imperialized not colonialized, in ateneo where jose rizal studied most of students were enrolled there were spaniards, that's the reason why they were called filipinos, i'm not with the "mestizos fans club" here all i'm saying is that your country was imperialised, actually king philipp stated "the sun never sets in my kingdom" when Spain is night time, The Philippines is daytime..

  • @kiranfardhela Spain is not the only one that mixed with Filipinos during the Spanish Colonial Era. There's also French, Italian, British, Chinese etc. and so on that belongs to the Mestizos and stay in the Philippines. Ex. the wife of our national hero Jose Rizal. We are colonized means not just converted religion, names, culture, the way of living etc. but not the entire Philippines as we also have ethnic Indigenous Filipinos that retain and preserved the culture and not influence.

  • @kiranfardhela most of our national heroes are mestizo means mixed descent or race like Gabriela Silang, Juan and Antonio Luna, Andres Bonifacio, Juan Luna's wife is Filipino, Spanish and Portuguese Descent named Maria de la Paz Pardo de Tavera de Luna. Ex-Wife of Jose Rizal named Josephine Bracken an Irish woman married to another Filipino & had 1 daughter who settled in the Philippines these are some of the well-known person. Although, Mestizo population is minority but don't know the exact %

  • The Spaniards Took Mexicans To Filipinas Filipinos Have A Hispanic Culture Que Viva La Republica Filipinas

  • @ontario863 hardly.

  • Didn't spain settled in phil for 300 years?

  • @TheWheelRock not settled conquered. over the 300 year of the colony there was little to no migration. all of the Spanish and other Latin European immigrants went to Mexico and the rest of the Americas

  • MEXICANOS Y FILIUPINOS SON MUY PARECIDOS

  • mestizos are usually stronger and have the power of fusion....

  • Some shown are mixed blood, so is why they have mexican look.

  • @peopleofthecircle Dude, Mexican is a nationality not a race for goodness sake and we do not look like the Filipinos.

  • @TheCooldude1987 No you don't look like us, except some mixed blood.

Many Filllipino where I live - I can telll difference.

There were these 2 gorgeous, 1/2 flip 1/2 white girls @at my high school that digged me - if only i was not shy!

In greater Bay area, we know of commonality. We all of mogolian decent, bro or sis!

  • @peopleofthecircle No offence but that depends how you use the definition as "white" because I'm Mexican-American and my both of my parents are full Euro descent. Lots of beautiful Asian women have interest in me for the way how I treated them because I'm different from others. If you haven't notice bro, a lot of Euro-Americans are also Native American descent just like ones in Mexico and the rest of Latin America; due to the dominant genetics same thing. Euro-Americans aren't pure breed either.

  • @TheCooldude1987 hell not they too are Mestizos but don't acknowledge it. good example is George Clooney

  • @EricVZLeon Yes I know, George Clooney and other Celebrities mostly you mean have you notice it? And that's fact, I've seen tons of U.S. citizens with Native American descent and their last names is also Native American; but it’s in English last names with different Euro mix with Native American nationality background roots. It’s not that hard to distinguish my friend, and Mexico however is a different story; but I doubt all 90% Mexicans are Spanish descent. They cut be French/Spanish or etc.

  • @TheCooldude1987 yes you might be right.l while Spanish decedent is more common in Mexico. there are people of French, German, Italian, Portuguese etc ancestry.

  • @peopleofthecircle If you ever visit Mexico in northwestern and central-western part of the regions, you would see lots of Mexican people with all kind of different colors of skin, eyes, and hair; same goes as the U.S. and Canada. For example: I have a niece who’s mestiza, however her eye colors are light yellow amber and I have seen tons of mestizos Mexicans with blue, green and brown eyes you can possibly ever imagine in Mexico. Btw don’t be shy around gorgeous women just do your best bro. =)

  • @TheCooldude1987 I have been there!

Mixed is mixed, i see every time i look in the mirror!

  • @peopleofthecircle True, "mixed is mixed"; If you have been there then you should know better it's a nationality not a race in a manners of speaking.

  • @peopleofthecircle no they dont have the "Mexican" look they have the MESTIZO look the majority of Mexico is mixed white. but very few are pinos are mixed

  • Filipinos Are Not Spanish Mexicans Are Not Spanish Spanish Peopel Are From Spain Europe Filipinos Are Asians Mexicans Are Americans I Love Filipinas Himno Nacional Increible Que Viva Las Filipinas

  • Only 3 or 4 % of of Filipino population has Spanish blood bc the situation there wasn't the same as in Latin America. Nevertheless most tv personalities are mixies and people with european origin are seemingly more celebrated. This is really sad bc most Filipinos have no european blood. unlike most latin american countries that asserted there independent identity, the problem with the Filipinos is that they really didn't and still have a colonial mentality of white being better that dark.

  • who is the girl at 0:59? the girl beside somebody holding a mike. I can see the list of names above but which one is her name?

  • They looks like asian not like spanish, but if you see in America many countries the people looks like spanish....(Colombia for example).

  • @196023413 that's the difference between Latin America mixing with Philippines in South East Asia because our natives are Austronesian/Malay but most of those ladies you see on these videos are with Spanish descent. Like 1:14 Isabel Preysler Arrastia & Perez de Tagle clan mother of Enrique Iglesias who has roots from Basque

  • @196023413 I mean 1:12 front page of Hola magazine that is Isabel Preysler

  • @196023413 There's a lot of Spanish that migrated to Latin America than in the Philippines so even if they mix with others specially those who has Spanish Mestizo and both has it then it will still appear due to intermarriages generation to generation that changes.

  • FILIPINAS ES ESPAÑA. PHILIPPINE ISLANDS ARE SPAIN AND THE NAME COMES FROM OUR KING PHILIP II. LONG LIVE THE SPANISH EMPIRE. WE'LL BE BACK.

    HASTA LA VISTA AMIGOS

  • The point of this vid is jes to showcase Filipino ladies with actual Spanish ancestry. Which part of this vid is suggesting that Filipinos are Spanish? Doh!

  • Ofcourse, Filipinos are NOT Spanish. Filipinos are Filipinos by citizenship! But there are Filipinos who have Spanish blood. Doh! Philippines had been colonized by Spain in 1500's. And by other countries as well, that is why you can't tell that Filipinos are pure Filipinos unless there is a proof that your ancestors weren't Japanese, American or Spanish. Check Philippine History!

  • Its sad how we still have a few Filipinos living out there that keeps on telling everyone that they are half Spanish just because of their Spanish sounding names without proof or evidence. But well that's just life. I have nothing against Filipinos who say that but I just wish that they'd just say that they are "Filipino" rather than complicating themselves.

  • the spaniards occupied the philippines for 333 years and was liberated by the americans on ww1. have you noticed most of filipinos last name are spanish.

  • @168eea please do some research...

90% of the surnames were given to them when the Spaniards needed to setup the name system to develop the country..Traveling Town to Town,Villagers were lining up to pick a surname out of the book Book was called the (Catálogo alfabético de apellidos,)

its like saying all the blacks in America are part white because their last name is Jones, smith, jackson etc when they are not.

  • @caramello1989 You're right about the spanish surnames but there may be some truth that some pinoys have spanish blood. Many blacks in america are part white as well coz their slave ancestors were raped or had a secret affair with their masters. Thomas Jefferson fathered children by his slave w/c at the time where black and white relationship was a taboo. DNA testing is needed in the Phils to confirm who their ancestors were.

  • Comment removed

  • @caramello1989 Mestizo/Mestiza those people with mixed Ancestry right. It's a term for those mixed Ancestry but today they used it for those who are light skinned or the way they look.

  • all Mexicans have lost

  • we're just colonized by Spaniards for 333yrs

but we are FILIPINO not a Spanish!!

  • Filipinos of Spanish DESCENT, you crazy people. They're not saying "Spanish Filipinos". Everyone knows that Filipinos are not Spanish.

BTW, did you know that Enrique Iglesias has a Filipina mother?

  • their surnames suggest it all...

  • @blinkblue04 Spain control the Philippines for a very long time but thats it.. filipinos fought for their independence and fortunately filipinos beat the crap out of em thats why tagalog is the language not spanish cuz if the Spain conquer the whole philippines the filipinos would've been speaking spanish by now..

  • FILIPINOS ARE NOT SPANISH.

  • @caramello1989 Filipinos are not Spanish, and Neither are Mexicans, Ecuadorans, Peruvians etc you Moron. Spanish is Spaniard. Would call Jamaicans and Singaporeans to be Anglos because their official language is English. Fucking idiot.

  • @Spearman36 OMG i didn't say Mexicans, Ecuadorans, Peruvians were Spanish... did i?

i am Spanish myself and pretty much know our history

please read more carefully next time.

  • @caramello1989 Don't listen to him he's just another stupid American that doesn't know anything about the world.

  • @TheCooldude1987 Another idiot who make dumb ass generalization because they cannot rebut based on the merits. Yeah right! LOL.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheCooldude1987 lol, you cannot rebut my post based on merit and you tell me I dont know anything about the world? you dudes are the provincial backwater dumb asses who cannot understand anything other than the propaganda they taught you.

  • @Spearman36 Buddy please mostly Filipinos like you have the stupid same mentality just like the Americans do falling for those stereotypes, watching the idiotic news and movies you see is just plain stupid and ignorance. So don't even tell me I don't know because I was there you asshole. By your false opinion, Mexico contains all kinds of nationalities and it’s the 4th diverse nation in the world and the 10th most visited country; second most visited nation in the Americas after U.S.

  • @TheCooldude1987 Golly, you are way off track. I dont know what youre babbling about. all I wanted to tell you was that Filipino is originally a Spaniard born in the Philippines. That Filipinos have a hispanic heritage too.

And for your info I am American with Spanish and Mexican Heritage - as well as Filipino!

  • @Spearman36 Oh I see I begin to see the picture, so wait a minute, if you have Spanish and Mexican heritage? You most likely have more Euro descent than Asian-Filipino dude; you’re chances are really high. But only 3% are Spanish descent in the Philippines and that makes you a true Filipino like you; I think? Correct me if I’m wrong.

  • @Spearman36 White?? I’m Mexican with Italian/Irish/French/Spanish/Mexican-American descent with no trace of Native American in me and so as the other 25% full Euro in Mexico, the rest of 65% I’ve seen numerous Mexican-Mestizos with different skin, hair, eyes such as Brown, Blue, Green, and Yellow Amber light or dark color eyes in various different regions with all kinds of Euro nationalities; Explain that? Seriously you’re such a full of it with your fiction irreverent statements.

  • @TheCooldude1987 i bet you look indian and think your european lol

  • @jiminirvana It's "Native American" NOT "Indian" you stupid American dipshit, god no wonder the whole world hates you people because you can’t get it right. lol And btw Euro-Americans aren’t pure breeds themselves either; mostly if you haven’t notice? lol

  • @TheCooldude1987 Who gives a crap that more Spaniards settled in Mexico than in the Philippines. That didnt mean Spaniards werent in the Philippines. Didnt that give you a clue on why the appearance of many Filipinos were dominantly native? If only one ancestor was Spaniard and the other 200 hundred that followed were native then obviously a majority of Filipinos would look native not mestizo-white. Its Genetics, hijo. Still there are white Filipinos. A tiny minority but they exist, for real.

  • @Spearman36 Yes I know bro and you told me more information.

  • @caramello1989 dude, dont make me laugh. what you are trying to tell is that Filipino which is originally Spaniard born in the Philippines are not similar to Mexicans, Peruvians etc. hispanic influence because you insinuate it doesnt exist contrary to fact. I am not an idiot like you. lets put it that way.

  • @Spearman36 everyone knows your the real idiot who if he did any research would know how to write a real comment/ argument about the spanish history of the phillipines.

reply back to me when you've fixed that comment up, you are seriously lacking English skills, english is not even my first language yet im a lot better than you.

i am Spanish myself and pretty much know our history

please read more carefully next time.

  • @caramello1989 I don't know that's how they put it on birth certificates during 1800's I guess during Spanish Colonial time. I think it was a Casta System to derived what lineage or breed they have. For fellow Filipinos, better check your Ancestral background. I checked from my dad mother side that my great grandmother's mother is pure Indigenous Filipino. Little by little I get to know my ancestry but compiling all of this I'm still FILIPINO. Ancestors from the past that makes who u are now.

  • @Spearman36 Wrong, mexicans & south americans clearly have spanish ancestry. Ask mexicans & they`ll gladly claim to be of spanish ancestry. The spaniards founded south america so there must be something to it. As for filipinos they`re totally asians not spanish @ all.

  • @BeerGrillzz Not all Mexicans nor South Americans have Spaniard Ancestry either. Argentina for example the whitest of them all was settled by Italians, Arabs, Germans, Swiss, Jews. The difference in the Philippines is that Spaniards did not settle in large numbers because of distance. But they WERE there. They fucked and bred like rabbits. If you only have one white ancestor and the rest are native genetics you will look native and not white. learn genetics. Idiot.

  • @Spearman36 Yeah right & americans are not pure either nothing but a shitty cocktail of all kinds of useless nonsense people. USGAY people are just a scrambed shitty cocktail. Learn your country. Dumbass.

  • @Spearman36 You are not getting anywhere with me with those stupid manipulative attempts you make, trying to `explain` things i don`t care abt that fuck that shit. You are just another manipulative american but you fail miserable @ it.

  • @BeerGrillzz

The Spaniards Stayed in The Phillipines For Over 500 Years and The Filipino language has a lot of Spanish Words and a dialect called Chavacano that is Spanish and plus they have names like Rodriguez,Suarez and you know the rest

How Could You Say They Are Not Hispanic?

  • @lopyz12 Filipinos doesn`t look anything like the spanish to me that`s why I say it. For some reason they probably would like to claim some spanish ancestry, in spite of their looks.

  • @lopyz12 Filipinos use many invented surnames that are not real spanish surnames, like Ventilación, Las Marias, Camote, etc. It looks like they pick some spanish words and use them like surnames just because they sound spanish. Most of the spanish surnames end with EZ like mine Martínez.

  • @braven117

    Ok2

but the point of this video is to showcase people OF spanish descent

its not a siren shouting "Filipinos are Hispanic" you guys should just respect the people in the video and ignore the people here that have comments you disagree upon

  • @BeerGrillzz Nah, a shitload of Filipinos have Spanish ancestry.

The Spanish colonized the Philippines. That's why a lot of Filipinos have Spanish surnames.

    Mark Munoz, for example.

  • @Malk64 & Brandon Vera? Baklavera? lol The baklas.... Phils is a just some bakla country.

  • @Malk64 To have a spanish surname doesnt mean that is legitimate, (blood related) probably many of the indigenous filipinos were baptized by the spanish priests and they gave them christian names and spanish surnames, just like happened in Latin America with the indians.

  • @BeerGrillzz Spaniards founded south america ? BULLSHIT!! Spaniards and Portuguese RAPED south america AND the Philippines they did not come as gracious guests, They came to bring chaos & diseases to so. america, stole gold enslaved and nearly killed off the true inhabitants and true founders of that area of the world . Why do people celebrate columbus for leading the way to SLAVERY in so many countries and stealing their natural resources while being offered food and welcomed as guests

  • @couar351 It's sad,us Filipinos did not have to suffer diseases, infact it was sort of reverse,I wish the "Americas" had this same immunity as their distant cousins in Asia, that is if we are all truly Mongoloids...Anyways,I am confused about your last comment there,Lapu-Lapu was the one who led an army against Magellan, in spite of being outnumbered, they won, and Magellan was killed as a result. The conquistadors couldn't win in battles, they had to pit the kingdoms and states against one another

  • @BeerGrillzz true. i am mexican and light skinned

  • @BeerGrillzz they dont claim they do for the most part.

  • Comment removed

  • @Spearman36 10% of the mexican population, about ten million are white mexicans of spanish descent. So you cant say that any mexican has nothing of spaniard because you are wrong.

  • @braven117 You were kind of close there, but actually Mexico (New Spain) was the second commander to govern the Philippines under the Spanish rule. Btw it’s 25% and not all Mexicans are Spanish descent you need to understand that, it’s just simple; Mexico is located in North America just like Canada and the U.S. with multiple nationalities descent from around Europe and from the Near East (Middle East).

  • @TheCooldude1987 no not all but a big majority is. 25% are white Mexicans mostly from Spain. and 70% is Mestizo half white/half native and again mostly from spain so roughly 90% has some spanish roots

  • @EricVZLeon So you said "some", good point there.

  • @caramello1989 the title says descendants ..... mainly Portuguese descendants .... the colonization for nearly 400yrs that finally ended by a Filipino leader named Lapulapu . Filipino today are the mixture of Indonesian Chinese and Spanish [Portuguese] blood

  • @caramello1989 LO QUE NO SON ES CHINOS..VIVA FILIPINAS HISPANA

  • @caramello1989 actually we do have spanish blood in some of us if you read about the history of the philippines. we been occupied by the spaniards for a very long time they made settlements in the philippines actualy the name philippines is named by The Spanish colony was named the Philippines, after Philip of Spain (King Philip II). so in truth there are some filipinos with spanish decent just wanna let you know. if u still dont believe it you can always google it :)

  • I'm proud to be a filipino and not pinoy. Pinoy for me becomes a bad stigma to us because of how people use it and it came from the yellow shit of ninoy-aquino-quanco political dynasty. I am filipino and pilipino in malay word. Im not a fucking spanish trash, thos who call themselves as mexican or WTF they want to call themselves are retarded shits who doesn't love their own root.

  • Comment removed

  • @ASIANBOYZPRODUCTION Mexican is a culture just like American and Canadian, NOT a race you stupid tool.

  • @TheCooldude1987 is a culture daw ahahaha, edi pla gangster culure kagaya din ng mexican at filipino culture, tapos isama pa natin ang katangahan culture. Idiot idiot idiot idiot. Ah damn, so many idiot here, making filipino illitirate. what an idiot fucktard.

  • @ASIANBOYZPRODUCTION Try to speak proper English before you talk gibberish because I couldn’t understand anything what you just typed to me? *facepalm* LOL

  • @TheCooldude1987 i don't need to write it here properly because i don't need to. This is fucking youtube and everyone can say anything whether it's proper or not. Anyways, on how you wrote your sentence, there's already a mistake. You should ask me to wrote not speak, and your sentence is not properly written. So before correcting me ,correct your mistake first. First problem: you don't know what is the difference of culture and nationality. 2nd problem: Before you accuse, look at yours first

  • @ASIANBOYZPRODUCTION I don't understand the difference of culture and nationality? lol I travel the world and you don't; the nerve. LOL what’s the matter? Did I hurt your feelings even more? :) And did you know many Mexicans, Canadians and Europeans in Europe make fun of Americans mostly? Because there're dumb just like you because they don't know anything about the world at all yet, that's a fact. LOL I know Mexican is a nationality and their culture and art is really impressive. LOL

  • @ASIANBOYZPRODUCTION Yes I' am Mexican and we don't discriminate other parts of the world, depending if you're ignorant or not. Btw I’ll give you credit for knowing the difference because not many Filipinos know that at all.

  • most of the filipinos who live in the northern part of philippines have chinese and western bloods..filipinos who live in mindanao most of them are unmixed malay descent..

  • @asulnamandirigma is that your hypothesis? it's quite irrelevant.

  • yo what's the big deal ? i'm a flip Canadian had all sorts of types of women ,white ,yellow ,brown even black.I like the malay filipina look most brown skin big brown eyes exotic to me . those chicks look to white

  • Filipinas=Rey Felipe II El Himno Nacional De La Republica Filipinas Fue Escrito En Espanol Su Constitucion Fue Escrita En Espanol Not All Mexicans Have Spanish Blood Palenke Bayabas Sayote Singcamas Nanay Tatay En Republica Filipinas Palenque Guayabas Chayote Jicamas Nana Tata En Los Estados Unidos Mexicanos

  • @ontario863 Majoirity of Mexicans do have significant white blood. The average would have 60%, in the north and central states it is much higher and in the south close to central america it is lower and in the coasts they have more SSA blood

  • i fucking hate filipinos that think they are spanish decent or has some spanish in them it pisses me off

its like saying all the blacks in american are part white because their last name is jones, smith, etc and shit

  • @Proudtobefilipino033 not all filipinos admit they are spanish...only the ones that actually have doccuments :P, anyway, you can hate us if you want. we don't like interracial relationships. lol

  • @AkoSiJhioh

lol did i say that all filipinos admit they are spanish?

"I fucking hate filipinos that think they are spanish decent" i was talking about certain people that they think they are lol

you're funny bro....you clearly made my day lol hahahahahahha

  • @Proudtobefilipino033 and wtf are you.

  • @copypacercopypacer

    i'm filipino?

you can't tell by my username huh....lol

  • their problem is that they sound like mexicans when they speak english...which is why i can't stand listening to them speak.

    LOL

  • @kevinjohnson256 That's YOUR problem asshole, your not Philippino or Mexican, so your ears SUCK!

  • @kevinjohnson256 How do they sound like Mexicans? Listen to Gael Garcia speak, to Salma Hayek, Ana de la Reguera, Mexican youtubers. Both have distinct accents, but maybe you consider all foreign accents the same :/

  • @paoadabelle

not all foreign accents are the same. When people from Spain or Portugal speak english, it sounds clear and educated. When philipinos speak it, they sound like uneducated farmers or bar girls from the filipines

  • @kevinjohnson256 I have heard Spaniards and Portuguese speak English. Accents vary. Very strong accents won't sound as fluent so your claim doesn't really make sense. I have never heard a Filipino's accent sound like a Mexican accent, though at all. :-| And all English-foreign accents sound educated since they are obviously speaking one more language than most US nationals.
