It's Russian. It says Sdyelal Dyela gulyay cmyelo, which I put into a translator and it reads, "Did it take walks boldly?" I can read Russian, but I don't remember any words hahaha.
It's the Cyrillic alphabet because it has letters that aren't in Greek letters. It could be Russian but it could be Ukrainian etc maybe even Mongolian
That is an intriguing mystery. If you ever find out what that means let me know. I just translated a coworkers German shirt for her. It made no sense and contained a lot of words that weren't actually words. Mostly because they contained no vowels what so ever. Never seen anything with that alphabet on it before though.
Ah yeah.... You're absolutely right. It's been so long since I studied math or science in uni. With all the Greek letters used as symbols I should have recognized this as not being greek.
Well excuse me for answering the only way I could. I just know its Russian bc my best friend is Russian. Just because I recognized it doesn't mean I can read it.
lol interesting... I saw alot of T-Shirts with nonsense german at the graniph design t-shirts store, its like they just copy and paste german poetry and run it through google translator a few times for fun.
I think we can all agree that whoever made these notepads, they succeeded in being first at something. After a while I guess putting English on everything got old.
"ich liebe bier" sounds not bad ;) but would not wear that on my t-shirt:D maybe thatjapanesegirl would wear such a shirt^^ it seems that she loves beer:D
Well, it makes sense, but it doesn't have much to do with the actual product, does it? Unless they are suggesting that you should use it for business before pleasure. At least they spelled it right!
HAH! Typed it into Google. It's a Russian proverb: Sdelal delo, gulyay smelo. According to Wikipedia it means "[When you] have done the job, [you may] take a walk boldly."
English version: "Business before pleasure; Work hard, play hard."
I Saw in Japan a girl with a t-shirt that read if you can read this you are stareing at my boobs wonder if she knew what it ment. i think i been caught looking now but hey i'm a guy.
Russian was my first guess too, but then I realized I don't know enough of either Greek or Russian to be able to tell the difference. I'm sure there's telltale letters, kind of like what you can look for in mainland Chinese characters as opposed to Taiwanese or Hong Kong Chinese characters.
@spankMAbooTAY Yup yup, some other folks in the comments managed to translate it too. No worries.

A lot of Russian speakers in Japan? Might as well sell stuff labeled in Inuktitut.

You took 2 guesses that turned out to be correct in this video! well, almost with the "have every happy day"
To sum up, it isn't nonsense....right?
