She makes her thoughts clear to groom but he begs her(at 0.20) to do whatever to himself but not to family. To which she replies that hand folding will not be enough but he has to bow down to her feet(at 0.31). So, after that dramatic sequence, he does as required. She got called from outside. So she orders(at 1.41) him to make her wear her sandal.
