I agree that whales are the most beautiful creatures on the planet. They are not merely hunted for pleasure, but also for their hides it is a commodity in some places.Not that I am condoning hunting them to exctinction, for some it is a way of life to hunt them...You take that from them they have nothing else.

i actually agree with you....i don't like the hunting that the japs and iclandics do but the inuit community do so for survival and they only take what they need and use every single part of it unlike the japs which consider the workings of the inner ear of fin and minke whales justifiable for the supposed scientific killing of several hundred

I was whale watching this past week (in Alaska and Canada) and I saw some humpback whales breaching.. unfortunately, like Larry in this video (lol), I wasn't fast enough to get them on camera!

This was filmed two years ago in San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja California, where the Gray Whales go every year to give birth.
