We need to get them integrated fast or the entire experiment is lost. I live in Iowa, which is a small, agriculturual state in the middle of the USA. Amazing song. When I first opened the campaign, I was like - "This is totally Medieval Britannic music...awesome!" I can just see the grey skies and desolate highlands before me!
It does seem like it was sung by Angela, and I think it actually is. But the original is actually called Ailein Duinn. I still like this version a bit better, but that's because Angela's voice is perfect. I think it fits the atmosphere of Celtic Ireland, Scotland, and England best.

This is a land where the greatest medieval fantasies originated. King Arthur, Boudica, and Merlin... truly where we get so many of our notions of fantasy from. I love this song the most in the Britannia campaign, though I must admit, I love Tally-ho during the battles. Álainn.
To, me it sounds Welsh. Personally I think Britannia was the best out of the Kingdoms expansion, Teutonic was fun, Crusades had some strong points, and the Americas campaign was crap.

yeah...i agree i personaly think that they should of added the religious conflict between the Irish Christianity, which supported individual worship with no religious leader, and the Latin Catholics which as we know supported the pope... that conflict dictated much of the conflict between he norman invasion and the irish land lords

@boyatiotis Theres more than one. When somebody says Celtic, they could mean any of the nations; Scotland, (Alba), Ireland (Eire), Wales (Cymru), Britanny (A Northern France region, Breizh), Isle of Man (Minnin Ellan Vannin) or Cornwall (Kernow).
Sorry to point this out but I don't like it when people say "The Celtic Language" or "The Celtic Culture"... I think the most common of the languages are Irish (Gaeilge), Scottish (Gaidhlig) and Welsh (Cymraeg).

@MegaChristaras Nah, it's Scottish Gaelic. And thy is "your", not "the". :P You might be thinking of "ye", and even that is actually a way of saying "you" to more than one person. English is a funny language like that.

It does seem like it was sung by Angela, and I think it actually is. But the original is actually called Ailein Duinn. I still like this version a bit better, but that's because Angela's voice is perfect. I think it fits the atmosphere of Celtic Ireland, Scotland, and England best.

This is a land where the greatest medieval fantasies originated. King Arthur, Boudica, and Merlin... truly where we get so many of our notions of fantasy from. I love this song the most in the Britannia campaign, though I must admit, I love Tally-ho during the battles. Álainn.

so i went and had a look at the tomb raider legend music and found it was a version of a song from the movie Rob Roy called 'ailein duinn'.
there's a version of the song here on youtube- copy and paste, have a listen, it's pretty similar to this (if not the same).
i'm probably wasting my time with this, aren't i?
