When people write out the title of the song in Japanese, they write the kanja that can be written as "ren" but everyone calls it Ikelenka...Can someone please explain....

because the japanese people cant make the "L" sound. they learn the "R" sound instead. and that is way its written as ren. ; )

@funion22 I would think it be "イケレン歌" In that case cause Len's name is.... レン and not 恋...and 恋 is not len....it's ren. >n< (Ah but whatever I'm not a jap so I wouldn't understand.)

@Whippycreme Well 'レ' isn't 'Le'. It's the katakana for 're'. The title itself is a bit of a play on words. It's pronounced 'renka', meaning love song. But of course 'ren' also refers to Len. c:

Hiragana are the characters... Romaji is the Japanese lyrics with the English alphabet.
