Number the valves on the left 1, 2, 3, 4 from front to back.

Number the valves on the right 5, 6, 7, 8 from front to back.

There are two sets of four valves. The four closest to you, which are 1, 2, 5, 6 are independent from the four valves that are farther away.

To stop the first four valves press them in this order: 5, 2, 5, 6.

Don't press these valves again.

To stop the second four valves press them in this order: 3, 8, 4, 7.

Now you can go forward.
