For the longest I struggled with my secular music.When you listen to that type of music constantly it can become addicting& like it's apart of you.my advice is,say Lord, in the name of jesus I rebuke these feelings of depression& anxiety& feelings of wanting to listen to music like this, then you have to put your foot down &just delete that mess from your computer ipod ect& everytime you have feelings of listening again call on jesus and play a christian song!(: God bless!

I love this song, it honestly refreshes me and makes me realize how God does not ask us to surrender because he delights in how much it hurts us, but because he so earnestly desires intimacy with us, Jesus didn't just come to earth to die on the cross for the forgiveness of sins so that we could live guiltfree. At the core of his desire for forgiving us was so that we could have unadulterated fellowship with him. It was all love and his enjoyment in us, making surrender so "worth it all."...

If there's one thing that's good about people who believe in any god, it's how they find strength in their beliefs. They become better people because of it.
That said, I think it's good to realize that people find strength in many different things--including without God. Since I left Christianity, I've never been happier. So long as you're happy in your beliefs, good for you!

It doesn't matter is your not a Christian everyone will have to give account to him when their body dies. He knows what you do and everything you think and say. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.
