@redford prefect, I never thought of that!, Oh my, a good session of lids with the 'ridge was a distictly punk activity.... we destroyed a lot of lids. I often wonder what people thought the morning after when they found their totally unrecognisable bent, bettered, fatigu-cracked handle-less lids somewhere in the street.
But somehow, I can't imagine wheelybins being any fun...

@RedfordPrefect Yep, I pinched my bin lid from the St Moritz Club in Wardour St after seeing this amazing band at the Marquee in about 1974 . My love for them is stronger than ever. Their latest album is superb.
This is not on the vinyl lp!!
