granny cart lady- a new class is starting this fall and I know they will not have the privledge of meeting you. I hope my fellow alums and the people at tulane will tell them all of the wonderful stories about you and keep you alive on campus
I'm the photo editor for the Wolf magazine, and we are doing a story on Granny Cart- Lady. We needed some photographs and we were hoping you could lend us some...All photo credit will go to the photographer
I've tried but you need to be accepted into the group, do you by any chance know who took them, so i could message them over Facebook. please and thanks
Update: Since I only know one of the many GCL photographers, I contacted the FB group's founder & she sent a mass e-mail to her members about submitting photos to your magazine. You should expect some e-mails soon.
I loved having class with GCL, I'm sure her attendance was better than mine...My English teacher spoke about her in class freshman year and it's too bad future classes will miss out...She is the kind of person that makes New Orleans truly unique and interesting.
Ms. Hardy - I will always remember the time you blurted out about 'justice' during Prof. Mack's crime and punishment class. It turns out that some deep south 1920s and 30s upringing will give you a slightly heavier view about how to punish robbers. Oh my, the professor went red and the class erupted in laughter. I will never meet someone so amazing. She was dedicated to going to class and learning until the day she died. Rest in peace.

That's cool. These photos aren't mine, though (whoops). I got them from the Granny Cart Lady facebook page. I suggest you post your request there.

Nelson-this is great.
I'm pretty upset I missed out on my 3rd year of GrannyCartLady, I was banking on seeing her during mardi gras.
