Brings back wonderful memories of when Macavity's Cat used to come down to Weymouth to play Verdis.  Every time packed to the rafters and an amazing night.

I used to love playing Verdis it was one of my fav venues, Weymouth was always a great night. Also the pre-gig drinking in the Duke Of Cornwall oppisite used to be a right old party!!...We're starting to play a bit again after reforming for Guilfest, so you never know..maybe a return to Weymouth!

The Duke is still there, same as it used to be, Verdis has changed a bit, but they are recently starting to get bands back in downstairs again.

You never know. We did reform this year to play the Guildford Festival, bloody good laugh that was, a bunch of 40 & 50 year olds all acting like we were 18 again. Hangovers take longer to get over now for some reason.

Fantastic, must tell the rest of the band. You know Kate!!!! now that is cool. I had the worlds biggest crush on her and now shes seen me slapping the bass and killing her song, I can now die happy.

I can't believe my ears and eyes, a Haysi Fantayzee cover!!!! Brilliant performance of a brill song! I wanna see the Shiny Shiny version too, please. The song is about John Wayne geting so fat he could only enter a women from behind, dont know if that is true but that is def what its about

The lyrics seem to suggest he only takes her from behind as he don't wont to remove his bullet belt for her. Who can tell, still a good song.

It's a song about John Wayne raping his squaw. And the line, "He knows that god is with him 'cause he's right." It's "cause he's WHITE"

Other than that, nice seeing someone sing it.

Yup your right not white, and that is why me & whatney are saying white, sounds similar to right though.This line was nothing to do with the squaw bonking but was because John Wayne was a well known racist and they were talking the rise out of him.And no we didn't think the song was about John Wayne taking his squaw for a romantic stroll.
