the reason that you have a deeper understanding of the real workings of this world is because you have spent many lifetimes trying to understand and doing spiritual practices and raising your vibration and consciousness. You are absolutely right Janet - Not sure about the USA , but I am in the UK, and there are certainly no signs of 'green shoots' here - it's all just wishful thinking, and an attempt to persuade us that all is well!! I'm just glad i woke up in time to get my life in order. Have been focusing really hard over last few years, and have now paid off mortgage completely, am debt free, and have invested in gold and silver! Have tried to warn others, but they just won't listen! Heads in the sand!!
Maybe a younger mind is still malleable and younger generations are more tolerant and open minded. I feel like my family believes some of the things I say, but nothing is getting done. It's "business as usual". I hope more people begin to wake up.
I'm in the same boat. My dad gets all his news from ABC CBS NBC ect. He thinks this constitutes diversified sources. I did get my mom on board though. My girlfriend, and my best friend as well so that gives me some hope.
Give your family time. I tried telling my parents that another Great Depression and Economic Collapse was coming since the start of 2008. My dad laughed at me, especially when I told him to take his 401k and put it into gold and/or silver. My mom said that I should see a counselor.
Now here in 2009, they are saying that everything I've been telling them was right. Don't give up, just keep showing them different things here and there, and they will come around like my parents did.
Since I left college in debt 4 years ago, I am completely debt free other than monthly bills. It's the greatest feeling in the world. I have much of my money in silver bullion. I believe I'm prepared for the worst, which is closer than we all think if the yield on the bonds continue at their pace.
People disagreeing doesn't bother me, but what bothers me is the mockery and the failure to even listen to another alternative from family and friends. Good luck!

1 in 8 people behind or in foreclosure compared to the average 1 in 350 - NORMAL
Market goes up when economic news worse than the great depression but better than expected - NORMAL
