My father used to take me to the games.When the Dodgers left Brooklyn, It was like loosing my father, he took up golf and I never went to a baseball game again until one day in Miami Beach where I was living , in 1993 I fell in love with the Florida Marlins. Was at game 7 11th inning youngest team to ever win the world series.

I remember Dem Bums especially the 1955 World Champs.....I was a little kid but everybody celebrated like it was V-J Day!

Thank-you for sharing. I'm a bit too young to have ever seen a Brooklyn game but I can imagine it must have been a very exciting era for baseball.
